Publisher's Summary

To hold on to his love, he must release his beast.

Once a Bear sets his mind on a mission, it's best to stay out of his way. Alexander "Bunny" Bunsun is that Bear. Something's not right with his cousin Chloe, and he's come to Halle, PA, to sort it out, turn his Harley around, and head home to Oregon. Until an enticing scent lures him into the local tattoo shop. There she is. An inked, Southern-drawled she-Wolf with lime-green hair. His perfect mate.

Tabitha Garwood's rotten day just got worse. Her Outcast status makes her a target for harassment with alarming regularity. And now, in the middle of a root touch-up, looking like a half-melted Skittle, she's met her destined mate. The only upside? She finally has a protector in the form of a huge, tattooed, shaved-head Bear who vibrates with carefully restrained power. When Chloe is left for dead and Tabby is threatened, only Alex can keep his growing family safe. Giving Tabby the loving home she needs, though, could come at a price - Alex must give up the control he's worked a lifetime to attain. Which means someone could die at the hands - and claws - of his beast.

Warning: This novel contains explicit sex, graphic language, a hunky Bear named Bunny and... Yes. I said a Bear named Bunny. I don't know about you, but I'm not brave enough to make fun of it.

Worth the wait.

Would you consider the audio edition of Bear Necessities to be better than the print version?

No. While it is an excellent audio, they're never better than the actual book.

Any additional comments?

While I'm thrilled that Bell has finally started doing audios of her Halle books, I'm disappointed that she didn't start with the Halle Pumas since they preceded Halle Shifters. I wait anxiously for more audios!

absolutely delightful and humorous

I was either smiling or laughing throughout the entire book. I would recommend if you like humor with a little intrigue thrown in.

pretty good

I reserve judgment on this book until I read more of the series but for the most part it's a decent book with a good story and some slightly backward character development. I mean that literally for every bit of education any person in this book shifter or not gets they always seem to take 1 step forward and 12 steps backward into the loving arms of their ignorance and I'm talkin about all three women in that goddamn tattoo shop. I was in that Lewis actor was just okay completely robotic but not too bad read.

love love love

I love Bear and Tabby. their love story captured me from start to finish.
I laughed, sat on the edge of my seat, cringed, fanned myself. And loved every minute of this book.

Love at first sight, no smell

This was a real enjoyable read. I have really started to become bored with how similar the characters are in books these days. It's to the point that none of the characters in books are people who you would meet in real life. This book is pleasantly different. The characters are more realistic which makes it possible to believe in the whole love at first sight or in this case smell as the characters are shifters. It was helpful that everything wasn't Rosy just because the couple was in love. My one problem with the story was the addition of a secondary mystery, complete with another potential couple and their relationship drama. This secondary mystery and couple drama wasn't fully developed and felt forced.

I will have to check out more books in the series.

A wolf named Tabby

I love these books, the Halle shifters are one of the best I've read and now listened, Tabby is the main character in this one, but you get to step into the Halle world and its wonderful cast of fun and lovable characters, the dynamic between the girls is amazing and sometimes hilarious, think fog horns and rolled up newspapers to the nose. So if you love sexy stories with soft moments, scary ones and goofy goodness, well this series is for you. Have fun

One of my favorites

I was so happy when I saw that Bear Necessities came to audio!! Great series! A big bald and strong man just melts my butter! Dana Marie does an awesome job with her books! There's just enough craziness and a great love story! I can't wait until the rest of them comes out in audio!

Love love love this audio book!

Was thrilled that this came out in audio as I owned the e-book versions of the entire series. Halle and the Poconos are the best ever

it was okay. the story was kinda blah. the missing of shifters was okay but the immediate acceptance of them by humans was underwhelming

Very enjoyable!

I really enjoyed this shifter story. Bunny was just to die for, so caring and gentle with his little wolf, as I have found many big men are. I shall start on the second book soon, and see what happens with Julian and Cynthia. Can't wait!
