A wonderful bundle :)

1. Dog Days of Summer I found the misunderstanding at the beginning, when neither of them is aware of who the other really is, really funny. Not credible, but funny :P And I enjoyed how non-plussed was Beau about Patrick being on a wheelchair. But I wasn't thrilled about the conflict in this story, and I didn't fell for the characters. Except for Pepper. I LOVE Pepper :D 2. Like Cats and Dogs I really didn't like any of the characters at the beginning. Ronan's attitude toward Oliver seemed childish and petty. And Oliver was arrogant and full of himself, throwing his suggestions around, without any respect for those on charge. And the way their relationship moves ahead is... a bit unhealthy, at the very best. But once they get together, they are rather sweet, so there is that :P 3. Cat's Got My Tongue This was really, really good. The subject the bullying and its consequences is done with respect. And the story manages to be humorous (seriously, River attempts to apologize using her sister's cat are hilarious) while still hitting the right emotional chords. This is a story in which the traditional roles of alphas and omegas are also subverted, River is an omega who ran with the alpha's crowd, and joined in their bullying. Weston is an unusual alpha, most interested in animals and his studies than sports, and that gets him singled-out and the victim of cruel jokes. The pace of the story is right, the relationship between these two advances slowly and carefully. A lovely story. 4. Cat and Mouse A wonderful romantic comedy. You know from the beginning that Elliott 's lies will come back to bit his rear in a spectacular way. And of course, they do, and he keeps getting in deeper and deeper any time he opens his mouth :P I really enjoyed this one :) 5. Horse of a Different Color What we have here is a very sweet, almost angst-free, cute romance between an outspoken omega veterinary and a shy cowboy. Archer, the omega vet, is from Texas and is missing his family and to work with something else than home pets as his speciality is large animals, which leads him to ask for a transference back home. Kohen, the shy cowboy is hoping for love but not really sure that he will ever find it. When they meet, after Kohen's horse gets hurt, sparks fly and maybe Archer will need to revise his decision of going back home. The story is lovely, and some of the dialogue, really hilarious. 6. When the Cat's Away This is a sweet second-chance story. I wasn't really sure about Jude at first, but he really has grown up and set his priorities straight. What I really liked here is that you can understand both characters. Why Jude did what he did, and why Andre finds difficult to trust him. Their relationship mends in a slowly and realistically way, rebuilding what they once had... but better. A very lovely romance :) 7. Barking up the Right Tree So sweet and lovely, and angst-free. What I enjoyed most is that, when all Brayden's drama comes up, they don't freak-out, they don't swear each other's off. They simply step a little step back, let the things cool down until Brayden come to terms with their relationship :) A story that will leave you with a happy smile on your face. Now, Guillaume Dubois is hit and miss narrator for me. Sometimes, I really like his narration; other times, not so much. In general, I like it.

I Think I Need a Vet!

This bundle was superb! The stories are very believeable, enjoyable and well written. Love the atmosphere of the hospital and some of the characters that work there are a stitch! The flow and voice of the Narrator is relaxing and easy to follow. Some of the character voices were a bit over the top. Sonny particularly! A bit Too Gay for my taste but humorous none the less. I enjoyed the various stories though and Highly recommend it!

You Get To Be A Member Of The Family

I am focusing on Barking Up The Right Tree in this review. Falling in love with your best friends father, probably not your best idea. Korbin is a veterinarian at Sunnydale vets . Over the Christmas holidays, he is left to watch over the clinic while it undergoes renovations. Jet owns the company doing the renovations. Korbin and Jet get to know each other and grow close to each other. Their relationship progresses to an intimate level. They are very happy together and then it all goes south. Jet’s son Braden has come home to work with his dad. Braden and Korbin have been friends for years. Korbin doesn’t realize he has fallen for Braden’s dad. Braden comes upon Jet and Korbin engaged in a hot kiss. . Braden feels betrayed. Will Braden’s feelings of betrayal keep Korbin and Jet apart? Will their love for each other be enough to overcome those feelings of betrayal? The interactions between the alphas and the omega’s in the Sunnydale Vets stories have been so real. You are drawn into the stories and made to feel part of the family. Austin, I am so sorry to see the end of the series. Thank you for a great journey. Guillaume Dubois has brought such life to the stories. Thanks

4.5 stars

Overall I enjoyed this Mpreg bundle by Austin Bates. But books 5 and 6 were my favorites. I really enjoyed how the narrator Guillaume Dubois created the country voices of Kohen and Archer. I was dying laughing. Also the voice of Hayden Sunny and Dale's son. So cute.

Great Series!

I overall really enjoyed all of these books. There was light drama with a lot of fun. I liked that all of the books had different story lines even though it always circled back to Sunnydale Vets. My favorite book of this series was Book #5 - Horse of a Different Color, I absolutely fell in love with Archer & Kohen💖 They were my favorite relationship out of the group! Shout out to Guillaume Dubois, he did an awesome job narrating and really gave each of the characters personality. He completely brought these books to life. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Thuroughly Amazed!

Rhis collection is a surprisingly great set of book. I loved the narration by Guillaume Dubois. His voice and rendition of each character's personality was really good. Each book had gave beautifully to the flow between them. The characters and their interations, both hilarious and heart warming, had me so caught up in the books that I lost a whole day to them. I applaud you Austin Bates for another set of books that confirm your skills.

Deserves a solid 10 stars in my opinion

What a great way to spend a 6 hour drive from NYC to Buffalo, NY. in a car full of 6 men, And yes, I did threaten them with bodily harm if they interrupted my book's! But you know what, other than a comment, here and there and or lots of belly laughs, we all enjoyed this great series of books! These are so well thought out, really well developed, the character's are so realistic and the flow through out all of the books and each book continues the story line effortlessly. These are a simply wonderful series of really good books with a captivating set of characters and lots of love and just plain good old fashion well written reading! (And I do not mean that in any sort of a disrespectful way) An avid listener/reader in Rock Tavern, NY.

Sunnyvale Vets

This was my first time listening to a book. I love it so much. The narrator, Guillaume Dubois made all the characters come to life. I felt like I was there, and got to know them. I can't wait to listen to another one. I love reading books but now I am loving listening to them too.

Love in a small town!

I love these books so having them all together is amazing. These are sweet books with all the feels. There's something for everyone, brother's best friend, enemies to lovers, second chances, instalove, age gap, son's best friend. This is a bundle I will enjoy listening to over and over. Narrator Guillaume Dubois does a fabulous job and I love hearing his voice on each book.

Narration totally ruins these simple stories

Stories are sweet & easy--perhaps a bit too easy. I wanted the conflict to be a little more dramatic. But for just fast, easy romance, these are reliably fluffy and sweet. Sometimes the characters say their feelings in a way that's way too self-aware and unnatural, but it moves the stories along pretty quick. What's funny is there is absolutely no point in having these in an Alpha/Beta/Omega universe, but this didn't bother me. I found it refreshing that they are just men who happen to be alpha or omega and their entire lives aren't dictated by it. Don't go in looking for traditional ABO dynamics. It doesn't play a role in the stories much at all, which I appreciated. Narration is bad to the point of distraction. Absolutely none of the voices suit the dialogue/tone, sentences are stilted and awkward, and the female voices all sound like caricatures of whiny snobs despite it not suiting any of the characters. It's all cartoonishly bad.

Awful Narration

I sadly gave up on this entire series after a few chapters into book one. This was not a reflection on the writing or the story but purely down to the terrible narration. His odd choice of inflection in his voice and terrible accents made it difficult to distinguish who was who hence why I gave up.

enjoyable

I grabbed this bundle because the 7 books for 1 credit was a great bargain. This was a new to me narrator and I quite enjoyed them. As for the stories themselves, they were good and worth the listen.

A guaranteed happy ending

I have listened to five of the seven books in this series and am holding the other two back for when I need something lighter, with very little angst and a guaranteed HEA. The stories are well-crafted, always told from alternating POVs and flow seamlessly from one to the other. The main characters are usually likeable, charismatic and have a high heat factor between them. I am so happy that Guillaume Dubois narrates the whole series. He makes it so much fun and I love all his different voices. It is amazing how he remembers them all. I particularly love Sunny who always makes me giggle.

Surreal

I found this book tedious. I love shape shifter stories but this went beyond that. Pregnant men? Just a step too far for my imagination. Ruined it all for me, I couldn’t finish the series. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless I knew they liked that kind of thing, and I don’t know anyone like that. Is this written for female readers?
