Not a typical rejected mate story

This story was entertaining. Interesting characters, good plot, decent narration, some steamy scenes (but not too much). The FL is kinda dumb but sweet. Usually I hate those characters..but not in this book. Maybe cuz the ML is also dumb and sweet so it works. But it is definitely NOT your typical angsty rejected mate story. It starts off like that but the FL never really holds a grudge. The two meet up again years later and never really address it…he never says sorry, she never really gets angry… it just like…oh hey, let me help you out cuz we used to be friends, then plot happens, action, intrigue, more plot twists and now we are so happy to be together.
Warning. There’s a plot cliffhanger-not a relationship cliffhanger but just a slightly predictable plot one.

Was ok, needed better editing

This book, overall, was ok. The editing wasn’t great. There are multiple times that lines are repeated and one where someone burps into the mic.
