okay, what the heck was up with that ending? I don't understand. why did they leave like that? like what the heck happened? well, I guess I'll find out in the next book. but this was a really good book you guys are going to love it. and the narrators did a really good job too.

No shade to Allie, but...

I am on chapter 3 and the female character voice and style is annoying, but tolerable. The voice she used for the friend that comes in during Chapter 3 is unbearable. I have to skip it bc omg. It's like grating against my ears.

Predictable

I liked that it kept me busy.

I didn’t like just about everything. It was predictable and it seemed to drag out the details unnecessarily. I felt like maybe Serenes backstory could have been more dark to justify her statements of feeling safe. Also, the title doesn’t fit. He is not the alpha and he is not really possessive. He is loyal and protective to the point of being whiny at times. The dynamics of the pack are unusual and frustrating. The actual alphas over the top reactions and lack of empathy are just stupid. 17+

Really cute Shifter Romance *must listen*

I absolutely loved this book the heroine in the story was very well written by Skye Wilson and Lindsey Devin. I absolutely love the performance by Allie Martina (she's my absolute favorite narrorator) and the talented Jack Calihan 😊 they both brought so much life to this book! I couldn't stop listening finished it in one day lol I don't want to give away any spoilers but if you are a fan of Shifter Romances and fairytale love stories then this book is for you. There's just something about the heroine that I absolutely loved she is so sweet and just wears her heart on her sleeve and would give the shirt off her back for a complete stranger. The male character was a rough and tough bad boy but still had a soft spot in his heart that I absolutely adored. I highly recommend this story you won't be disappointed 🙌 I am hoping there will be a book 2 here soon.

Serene and Tevin

Tevin was sent on a mission by his pack alpha/leader, Ben, to kill Serene because of a greedy stepmother, Margaret Atwater, that Serene did not even know existed. Her bio father left her a fortune and Margaret wanted it all and she was a nasty b!tch. Tevin realizes that Serene is his mate as soon as he sees her. He calls Margaret and cancels the contract. She does not take it well and makes serious threats. Tevin knows she will send others to do the job so he wants to keep Serene safe. Serene knows nothing about his wolf side. His pack leader, Ben, was not happy about it and went to the town to try to force Tevin to return home. He acted like he did not want Tevin to claim his mate because she was human, but he also said how rare it is to find a mate. I did not care for Ben at all. This turned out to be a really good book with plenty of suspense and smexy times. The ending was a nice setup for the next book. Allie Martina and Jack Calihan did a great job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
