Decent story, annoying female lead character

I like the story, I like the concept, however...I am SERIOUSLY over the "I can't tell anyone what's actually going on for their own safety" female characters. They ruin the entire story. Just once I'd like to see someone lay it all out there and be a real person instead of a drama queen. It's ruining the entire story which was fun and light and a good listen otherwise. If the main character could shut up, I'd be a lot happier.

Probably not. There are much better paranormal romances out there.

I hope not.

Unimpressed

The story was just too ditzy. I really liked the idea behind the story...Heroine is working at a paranormal dating service in the office, protecting her sister from the werewolf packs, etc. But the story itself seemed to be trying to sound like a book from Mary Janice Davidson, whom I really enjoy, but just didn't quite pull it off. Better luck with the next one.

Is the premise of hiding from shifters at a shifter dating agency or silly for you?
Do you crave alpha shifters and angsty, dark, broody plots? If so, this is not the story for you.

“Red alert! Red alert! All hormones on deck!”
This was a cute, frisky listen featuring Bathsheba and her wolf shifter in hiding sister Sarah.
Sure, Bathsheba isn’t the brightest bulb. But it’s all about the Scooby level danger on the way to the mrrreoww romance with cougar shifter Beau. While I generally don’t care for romance featuring virgins, this one handled it in a light, fun way.

Those seeking cozy romance, however, should also pass.
This one has F bombs and deets between the sheets, once she finally punches that V card.

Too much sex, not enough story or real romance. Great possibilities. Not very good character development.
