Great everyday examples!

I wish I had this book when my son was first diagnosed. I love the examples I learned a lot more about how my son is feeling. The book was easy to follow with daily examples and exercises. I think this book is important to read weather you have a child or not with ADHD your child might have family or friends that have this and this will help everyone to understand it’s not easy for everyone. Will be recommending to friends who work at a local elementary school. A great read!

Very Useful Book about ADHD in Kids

I can see this being like a guide for parents, and even though I don't have kids myself, Henrietta Shepherd’s insights are so smart, I may just need to save this for my friend who’s thinking about having kids.

This book is a game-changer, and I think it has utility beyond just for parents with diagnosed ADHD children. That makes it even more practical. This explains ADHD so well, but also provides valuable tools for any parent dealing with the everything that comes with raising children - ADHD or not.

Henrietta Shepherd breaks down the complexities of ADHD very well. As someone who studied psychology, too, it’s all accurate and useful information. The strategies for dealing with emotions, sleeplessness, hyperactivity, and those intense emotional responses are basically life hacks.

Shani Marissa’s Australian accent added to the already useful words of Henrietta Shepherd, which made story easy to listen to and easy to digest.

Additionally, even as someone who is fascinated by psychology and not personally interested in having kids, I appreciate how this book caters not just to parents but to anyone interested in understanding the dynamics of ADHD. It's like a crash course in emotional intelligence and ADHD in children in general.

Even for someone without kids, the book's real-life examples and advice make it a very valuable read. Henrietta Shepard created a very useful book, not just for parents, but for anyone interested in psychology or ADHD.

What an incredible book for parents!

I wish I had found this book earlier for my mother, I have a brother diagnosed with ADHD and I love him dearly, but it took a toll on my mother trying to take care of him. I'm grateful now and more understanding of those with ADHD, it's definitely hard, but with time, care, and proper guidance, I think we can parent it easier now. Great book <3

A great book for parents.

Easily a favorite book of mine now. Although I'm not a parent, I'm curious to know what it would be like for parents with children who have ADHD. Raising a child is already tough and most of the time parents usually wing it as they go. I appreciate the author for publishing this book for awareness and all. Recommend giving it a read
