I love this book.
Wonderful book. It totally explains & sums up what I was going through the first 45 years of my life. It’s only been the last 3 years that I’ve woken up & started limiting my time with the energy vampires around me. I originally heard the term empath on a Facebook group & realized omg that’s me & it explains my whole life & why I attract abrasive, narcissistic people because I’m a nice, kind, shy, quiet, timid empath. This book is very informative & gives great ideas of things to do to help you better your life & begin to heal. Thank you to Dr. Northrop for writing it.

Dr. Northrup does have a FEW solid, scientifically
proven opinions in this book, unfortunately many are steeped in metaphysics so only anecdotal findings/opinions are related.

Great Information
I was drawn to this in a bookstore but didn’t purchase it. Recently, it came back to my mind as I was feeling spent and exhausted. This book is so great. Highly recommend it. Great source of information whether you are an empath or not. We all have a life force that we need to protect and shine on a broken world.

Amazing audio book
I love this audio book. It helped me with acknowledging and confirming a lot of the relation issues and social issues I experienced throughout my life. In the past I didn’t really talk to people about it because when I got into the details with people that I ran into issues with they always stonewalled me or gas lighted me. It was very painful experience. It is a blessing to have listened to this audio book. The author definitely makes me feel less alone in living the life of an empath.

This was the most eye opening book I have ever seen regarding what it is like living in an abusive toxic relationship for many empaths. It should be recommended by any group that treat empaths suffering from narcissistic abusive.
