Great reminders!

What made the experience of listening to The New Rules of Marketing and PR the most enjoyable?

Most of the elements discussed in this book are by now common knowledge in the marketing/PR world but even small reminders spurred some great new ideas for us!

Very helpful content!

This is one of the most useful books on marketing theory, best practices, and techniques that I've listened to recently. The author offers the "why" in addition to the what and how. The narration sounded best when speeded up a bit (1.25), but then both the inflection and pace were just right. I highly recommend this book for both small businesses as well as larger companies.

My dad liked it

It was very helpful in getting my dad onboard with some of the social media offerings for our family business. It wasn't very informative or groundbreaking to me. The book offers a good, if not long-winded, overview of web exposure and ways to promote your business online.

Interesting and inspirational

Very interesting content with fantastic reading (at some point the actor ended up laughing into the microphone instead of saying "haha"). Provides very concrete examples of what to do to accomplish the described ideas. Recommend to anybody interested in having any professional online presence.

Great Listen

I'm pretty internet savvy but this book brought up not only new ways of teaching people that I hadn't thought of, but added excellent insight into new ways of utilizing the methods I'm already taking advantage of. I'd recommend this book to anyone interested in marketing or reaching new audiences.

Old school methods make me cringe!

This book has shown me how PR and marketing should be done! Going to buy the hard copy soon so I can make more notes and highlight passages. Go out and buy this book!
