Publisher's Summary

Do you feel too sensitive for this world?

Are you at the mercy of your emotions, overwhelmed by your environment, and easily triggered by other people’s feelings?

You aren’t alone. Millions of highly sensitive people (HSP) feel exactly the same way.

If you’ve always felt more delicate, more easily overwhelmed by sensory input, and more empathetic than those around you, you are probably an HSP. Sensitivity is a blessing, but it’s hard to thrive as an HSP in a competitive society that perceives emotional expression as a sign of weakness.

So how do you develop the skills and tools you need to successfully navigate your way through life as an HSP? As someone attuned to the emotions of everyone around you, how can you protect yourself against emotional overwhelm, negative energy, and psychological distress?

In The Highly Sensitive, you will realize why high sensitivity is a gift that requires careful management. You will discover how to solve the common problems faced by HSPs the world over and how to live a happy, fulfilling life that lets you use your abilities to the fullest.

You will discover:

  • What it means to be an HSP and what sets HSPs apart from the general population
  • How to cope with emotional overwhelm
  • How to protect yourself from the negative energy of other people
  • How to cleanse yourself of toxic energy and live in harmony with your environment
  • How to form healthy relationships
  • How to set boundaries and say “no” to people and situations that are not right for you

Within just a few hours, you will develop an in-depth understanding of your true self and begin to realize your full potential.

This audiobook is packed with helpful advice and strategies you can use to live a balanced and meaningful life as an HSP.

A Blessing

Both my daughter and I are very sensitive and creative individuals. In the hopes of understanding ourselves better and working with our unique personalities, I decided to purchase this for my Kindle. I really enjoy this book, haven't finished it yet as I go over certain area's a second or third time to test myself.

Nonsense

"Try carrying a healing crystal"

While this book contains some good advice, it also contains a lot of total nonsense. Maybe you'll feel better carrying rocks in your pocket, but most of the advice is impractical at best.

HSPathetic

I believe that I needed to hear this. I fit the bill on everything that was mentioned plus some. I feel I should find something on Empaths.

I liked it.

I bought it for my son as he is like fire and feels things deeply. I listen to it and found that I personally could identify with it. Even if you don't necessarily believe in HSP or Empaths because the book is written in a very matter affect non-flakey way; It still has helpful reminders on navigating through people and life. I was surprised how much I liked it.

Lovely

After listening to the book, I wanted to try working through the exercises in this workbook. I found them illuminating and encouraging - I learned a lot more about my sensitivities and how to help myself in better ways.
