Time and attention spans are short these days, so we've got you covered with some of the best audiobooks under seven hours across multiple genres.

Editor's Pick

If you’ve been wondering about the law of attraction... 🤔
"As a longtime secret proponent of so-called "woo woo" concepts like the law of attraction (as seen in works such as the aptly named The Secret), I’m feeling vindicated by growing interest in these topics—fueled in part by powerhouse authors like Gabriele Bernstein (who counts none other than Oprah among her fans). In this, her seventh title, Bernstein goes all-in on the spirituality component of her personal growth strategies, urging listeners to call upon their higher angels to help manifest their goals and aspirations. And even if "angel" isn’t the word you’d use to describe the ineffable forces at work in your life, there’s still a lot here about how you can bring about positive change. Free your mind, settle into a mindful state, and the rest will follow."

Sounds like a commercial

I can't even count how many dozen times this author tells people to "visit her website at: www.givemeyourmoney.com" (is what it sounded like). The book would be infinitely better if she stopped PUSHING her website onto people and instead let the universe guide then there peacefully. Practice what you preach girl, you're letting your greed show.

Nothing new here

I was having deja vu by as the examples in this book are the same as in her past books and then she reiterates material from Abraham Hicks. Not bad but nothing original either.

Tired of audible books where I have to take notes

I like to listen to books like this while I'm driving, but yet again, I am given a bunch of steps to take that I can't write down while I'm driving . This book refers you to her website, so I'm thinking "great, I can get the steps from her website", only to find that all of her links sell you something. If you buy an audible book, you should be given the kindle version as well. After all, if you buy a kindle version, you can whisper-sync the audio. Why not the other way around?? The performance is obnoxious. She seems to have edited the recording repeatedly, because the volume of her voice and her voice in general changes often. The content, so far, seems ok, but I'm disappointed that I can't easily follow the method. And I totally agree with another reviewer about up-selling constantly in the content of the book. That's not what I paid for.

Not a huge fan

If you have had a spiritual practice for any length of time, the tenets of this book may feel trite and rehashed. They did for me. If I hear one more person tout affirmations that have scientifically been proven to NOT WORK (because the affirmation will stop at the brain stem if you are not in alignment with what you're saying)...welp...just ugh. The author's constant referral back to herself and her other books and products was annoying, and thus the reason I gave two stars on performance. I am tired of being side-sold, up-sold, and down-sold period, I understand people need to market - I just want that marketing to come at the end of a book I'm reading or listening to. I think the author's heart is in the right place, and I do appreciate her effort. I personally don't hear the value in what she has espoused that the other listeners have stated in their five-star reviews.

Dissapointing

I was looking forward to this audio book as I have found Gabbys books very uplifting. However I found this book to be redundant and almost felt as arrogant. All I could hear was... " I was able to do this" " I was able to achieve that " " me , me and more about me" .. and while I care about anyone's lives and I love it to be nice and pretty.

I didn't feel like she made an effort to connect with the audience. I perceived no effort communicating, reading passionately or with purpose... just her old monotone rampage about her life.

At least at a personal level I did not feel the connection. I felt like an arrogant person just paraded how awesome her life is and collected the money for the book. I am actually returning / exchanging this book if possible.

I am sorry to write this review, but I keep feeling that I needed to get that out of my chest and clear the energy.

Pretty much the same thing

I love Gabby’s voice and she does a great job with narration. The story is very much like the Universe Has Your Back. I was thinking it might be something much different... good not great.

Okay, not for me

I appreciate this topic and strive to focus on and incorporate this daily. However, this perspective is not for me for two reasons: 1. Chapters being read as though in a robotic and monotone voice at times, makes it sound as though she herself does not believe her own advice or practice it. Read the book instead of the listening to the audio. 2. The guidance often focuses on channeling spirits and named guides, which is a not really for me/my practice.

Angels and ego

I loved some of the personal stories and the connection to angels... a spiritual connection that I have never before used... but will
My one distraction was when Gabby would thank the reader or express what she wanted us to do. I was very conscious of her ego during those moments and distracted from her message. As a reader, I want to hear her experiences and expertise. I don't want to know what she desires me to do or for her to thank me as I am listening to her message to be closer to god and the universe, not her specifically
This is not meant to sound disrespectful.... it was just a distraction for me. I am working on this for myself, as well. Overall, there were many great messages and I will listen to again to absorb what I missed the first time

Great start - then quickly turned religious - argh

If you are a religious person (especially Christian Catholic), you may relate to this book better than me. The book started with very good messages and consistent with Abraham Hicks teachings. Then it took a turn where it was more about praying specifically to certain biblical angels and not really about creating . I did not like the second two thirds of the book - it did not resonate with me.

Disappointed

It is a regurgitating of the same story over again. If you’ve read her other books there will be nothing new.
While i do agree with the message it could’ve been told in literally 2 minutes.

Self absorbed nonsense

This book has very little to do with how to open your life up through spiritual practices and more to do with how amazing Gabrielle Bernstein is, constant name dropping and bragging. A total waste of listening time and an unbelievably over rated book.

Whole book is ripped off from other authors

This lady is the biggest fraud of an “author” I’ve ever experienced. I’m so angry I purchased this book not knowing that all of the content is stolen from other authors. I’m shocked that someone would so blatantly take the hard work of others & profit from it. If you are interested in the concepts of this book read the original authors e.g. Abraham Hicks & Wayne Dyer. While she states at the beginning that she bases the book on their ideas, the entire book is a copy, with word for word sentences from other authors & no original material. Shameful

Normally finish Gabbys books but not this one

Struggled to finish the book. Found it difficult to get anything new from this one that I haven't already heard in her previous books. There were some elements that I took away but it was hard getting through it. Loved the ending. Felt really happy for Gabby.

I hope I could give zero

This book solves no problems and wastes my time. It keeps telling me to feel good to attract solutions, so that the solution will somehow emerge. There are two logical problems: (a) If I follow the instructions but do not receive a solution, the book would argue that I do not fully accept its approach and I need more practice. (b) If I finally found a solution, the book would ask me to attribute the solution to a positive attitude, without a logical explanation of the causal relationship.

Reads like a biography.

Gabrielles passion and positivity are infectious. However, I felt it to be extremely similar to content from other books. Additionally, it reads like biography or part diary of Gabrielles life. A few useful tools, but nothing that hasn't said in other books of the same nature.

Very disappointed with this book.

I loved my last Gabriella Bernstein book, it was uplifting, humorous and full of funny anecdotes and stories. This book feels repetative, dull and stretched. I feel like this book was about Gabriellas personal journey. I learnt nothing in this book that I didn't already know from her last book. I didn't finish the book I sent it back for a return.

Not an LoA fan, until now

The Law of Attraction has not been my thing. I found it feeling cheap with how the Secret was marketed. But I have found so much insight in Gabby Bernstein’s words in the past, I thought I’d give this a go.
And this book does not disappoint.
It is a lesson that the LoA isn’t the superficiality that many pop-culture sources might lead on, but instead a spiritual practice and journey that leads you to a better you. Everything else is gravy. The true joy presented in this book is what it stirs within the self as the practices recommended are applied.
I loved this book, and would definitely recommend it, especially to those who might be dubious of the metaphysical “world.”

Talks too much about herself

I love spiritual books and I appreciate Gabby giving credit to Abraham Hicks and others, by the last few chapters I could no longer stand just how much she talked about herself, what she said, what she did and so much about conceiveing a baby. I wish the book said it concert rated so much on her struggles with conceiving because I wouldn't have listened to it. Without this the information would otherwise be valuable and informative!

Not for me

Spends too much time talking about herself and unfortunately lost my interest. Plenty of other books around that cover the topic without the me factor. In fairness, I didn’t finish the book.

Simple yet fabulously profound

For me this was the right book at the right time. Full of easy to implement concepts with the potential to transform the existence of anyone willing to set aside old paradigms & open their hearts & minds to their spiritual side.

Almost immediately I was experiencing synchronicities all over the place as I read this & I’m in no doubt about about the power of what’s contained here.

Gratitude to Gabby.
