performer did great!

the reading did a great job. it was who ever that edited this together that failed. sentences seemed to stop mid sentence only to start back up, the performer inflection would change half way through a sentence, etc. otherwise great story!

unexpected

for the first half, you're pretty sure where this book is going. seems like a take on a Nicholas Sparks novel, but then it kinda goes off the rails. and just when you think it's too crazy to come back from, everything is reasonably explained and sorted out. this book gripped my attention from the first chapter to the last word, interesting is probably the best way to describe it. it sort of shifts from romance to mystery so this is a good choice for readers who appreciate both genres.

Surprisingly good.

I enjoyed the book and thought it was worth the time to listen to. I also liked the how the story seemed to conclude a few times throughout the book until something else happened and changed your whole opinion and perspective. I also liked the suspense though it wasn’t over done like in some books.

Worth it great storyline kept me guessing

Excellent storyline with believable characters! Author kept the story going to the very end. I thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend it.

I would make this a movie if I could

There are very few books I’ve read and listened to that I would make a movie out of, and this is one of them. The story has you anticipate the worst, making you want to jump to the end to get the answer, but the further you get the more you contradict yourself and your predictions. You need more, you need the answers and the only way to get them is to go through the FULL STORY. Who is the liar? Who is keeping secrets? Why are they acting this way? Why do I have this feeling that it’s going to get worse? Whose version of the truth is the best and how do you interpret it? I would’ve liked to know more of what their relationship was like before and a little bit after simply for the romantic part but wonderful regardless. Would recommend this hook to anyone!

Nice story

The story was good and the narrator was also better that expected. I wish there was more to the ending it, it is what it is.

I went through so many emotions listening to this book. I absolutely loved it. I felt the pain,joy,love,disappointment and last relief that it ended up how I wanted it to 😂

Your on the expectation of what comes next, and at some point what's going on, enthralled all the way thru.

Keeps you on your toes throughout

The narrator does an excellent job of changing her voice for the different characters. The story keeps you on your toes and has you guessing the outcome throughout the book.
