Joanne Froggatt!

I have never read any of Lisa Jewell books before, but when I saw who was reading this audio version, I immediately purchased it. Joanne Froggatt’s performance of this work really brought it to life! Her use of various British dialects made each character distinct and fully rounded. I absolutely loved listening to her tell this tale. I will definitely look up Ms Jewel’s earlier works and absolutely seek out anything Ms. Froggatt has performed.

Another great Lisa Jewel novel and fantastic narration

I usually love Lisa Jewell novels, but was especially excited to listen to this one since it was narrated by Joanne Froggatt, who I originally knew from Downton Abbey. Neither the story nor the narration disappointed – I would highly recommend this novel!

Very enjoyable story with great narration

A light easy to listen to mystery that was well written and it wasn't until closer yje the last quarter of the book that I started to figure some things out. The narration was wonderful, felt like I was, watching a, movie. Great to listen while walking my dogs.

I liked this even better than her previous book! Great story, well-developed characters, and captivating narrator. Just the kind of story I like to listen to when I need something to pull me in and take my kind off everything else.
