Love the Anti-Feminist Talk

What made the experience of listening to The Alpha Female's Guide to Men and Marriage the most enjoyable?

As a working woman who has also been a stay at home mom, I can appreciate this author speaking on the traditional values of feminism and explaining so thoroughly how that DOES NOT work as a model for women who are extremely engaged with their domestic responsibilities. I have never heard anyone speak about balance without preaching the equality of the genders. Things are not always going to be equal, it is about balance.

What other book might you compare The Alpha Female's Guide to Men and Marriage to and why?

I can't think of another book that uses similar language.

Which scene was your favorite?

Between chapters 13 and 14.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I would have liked reading this all in one sitting, but I'm sure I will have to revist the book multiple times.

Amazing book!

I am going to read it for the second time. It has some hard facts but I think it is very down to earth.

Enlightening!

I found the straight forward nature of the book a reality check and will keep it in my tool box as I operate with my guy.

Sorry, not good

I hate to say it but I regret getting this on my Audible account. The narrator talks in a high pitched baby-girl cheerleader squeal. It’s like she’s reading a fairy tale to a group of 3 year old little girls. Exactly the kind of voice that as an Alpha female (which is why I got the book) I can’t stand. I literally almost ran to the speaker to turn it off. It’s awful. Sorry.

I cannot believe how ridiculous this book is.

I couldn't get past the first chapter. I completely disagree with the author's idea that alpha females are to deny their alpha side of they want to find love and meaningful relationships.
