Publisher's summary

“Napoleon Hill was one of America’s great, influential thinkers who continues to have an enormous impact today.” - Steve Forbes, editor-in-chief of Forbes magazine

Bestselling author Napoleon Hill reveals the seven principles of good that allow us to triumph over obstacles...and find success.

Using his legendary ability to get to the root of human potential, Napoleon Hill digs deep to reveal how fear, procrastination, anger, and jealousy prevent us from realizing our personal goals. This long-suppressed parable, once considered too controversial to publish, was written by Hill in 1938 following the publication of his classic bestseller, Think and Grow Rich. Annotated and edited for a contemporary audience by Rich Dad, Poor Dad and Three Feet from Gold coauthor Sharon Lechter, this book is profound, powerful, resonant, and rich with insight.

Critic reviews

"My simple faith is this: If we are created in God’s image, then we were born to create, and to create is to prosper. [This] previously unpublished Napoleon Hill manuscript.... I’ve read it and recommend it." (Rich Karlgaard, Publisher of Forbes magazine)

Outside of the Bible smartest book I’ve read.

I’ve never experienced a personal development book that lays out humankind’s habits in such a way that I evaluated myself and was able to identify my strengths and weaknesses so I can move forward and reset. I can actually look at people and forgive there actions or fall victim. I highly recommend this book. I’m going to listen to it again and take notes this time.

Brilliant

Brilliant masterpiece by Napoleon Hill. Such a disservice to the world this book was held from publication for 70 years.

A must Read

This is one of the most influential books I will ever read. I will have my children and their children read this book. I will do my part to reduce drifting in my family tree henceforth

life changing

If you got any value from Think And Grow Rich or Law of Success, then this is the book for you. Especially if you haven't achieved what you've aimed for yet. Knowing what causes failure (temporary setbacks) and thoroughly analyzing it is just as important as knowing what can cause success. Must listen.

A Good Read, But...

... whose idea was it to have the lady interrupt the book? Kind of unnecessary, don’t you think?

The Book on Life Mastery

Amazing book describing in simple words how/what/why life operates as it does and how to be at cause over the seemingly appearing randomness of life. Points out the factors of the universe for you to see you're at cause all the time and reveals a formula that personal life experiences have shown to be very valid.

Message for this period.

Definitely a master piece for Napoleon Hill. Timing definite by Infinite Intelligence. In the same class as Think and Grow Rich.

Stop Sharron!

Shannon doesn't understand Hill didn't believe in the Devil or God. The book would be better without her. To summarize the book in one statement; Neither the devil nor God has any power unless you give it to them. All the power in the world is yours and yours alone to control.
