Publisher's Summary

One out of three women alive today, and one out of two men, will face a cancer diagnosis, according to the World Health Organization. Ty Bollinger takes this personally: in the course of a decade, he says, "I lost my entire family to cancer. I don't believe I had to lose them." The Truth about Cancer has been written for one simple reason: to share the knowledge we need to protect ourselves, treat ourselves, and in some cases save our lives or the lives of those we love.

Bollinger, whose October 2015 documentary miniseries The Truth about Cancer: A Global Quest has received over five million views to date, explains that there are many methods we can access to treat and prevent cancer - we just don't know about them. The book delves into the history of medicine - all the way back to Hippocrates's credo of "do no harm" - as well as up-to-the-minute research that proves the efficacy of dozens of advanced cancer treatments being used around the globe. Bollinger arms listeners with essential, sometimes startling information about:

  • The history and politics of cancer
  • The takeover of medical education by special interests and for-profit agendas
  • How some life-saving treatments have been kept from the public - and why
  • Treatment options that go well beyond chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery

"To us this is not a business, it's a mission," he explains. "We're on a mission to save the world."

I was lucky enough to watch the TTAC at the Northern Baja Gerson Center so i am quite familiar with alot of what he said in the audiobook . If this is your first time hearing any of this information you will be amazed ,astonished and at the same time saying to yourself that your are suprised. I have implemented what i have learned in the book and the series to help heal the lung cancer diagnose. i recieced April 5th of this year.

Truth? Really?

Apart from some sensible advice on diet, exercise, and avoidance of stress, this book is a mishmash of western medicine-bashing and new age crystals nonsense.
Author Bollinger uses sweeping generalizations and manipulation of statistics to brazenly advertise his business interests, and to persuade readers that he alone knows the truth about effective cancer treatment.

In a preliminary digression from his attack on the medical/pharmaceutical complex, he tosses a few grenades into vaccine protection, so that should tell you everything you need to know about his pitch.

Most alarming of all are the countless reviews that proclaim the truth of his shady claims.

Quacky Theories

What disappointed you about The Truth About Cancer?

The author eschews any modern medical treatment for cancer. For instance, he advises patients to forgo chemotherapy. These recommendations are dangerous. I agree that often doctors ignore more natural, less invasive treatment, such as a better diet and life-style, but it is absurd to claim this is all that is needed to treat cancer.

Would you ever listen to anything by Ty M. Bollinger again?

No.

Would you be willing to try another one of John Glouchevich’s performances?

No.

Everyone needs this information!

So happy to have found TTAC and their mission, info for every situation in health and removal of fear. My only change would be the narrator, I was looking forward to hearing Ty read the book now I'm so familiar with all his other works.
