Publisher's summary

The idea that “thoughts become things” has become a meme in popular culture. It’s held as a firm proposition in metaphysics, and some spiritual teachers ascribe infinite powers to the mind. But are these claims scientifically accurate? What does the scientific evidence tell us about the scope of the human mind to transform thoughts into reality?

New research and new discoveries in epigenetics, neuroscience, electromagnetism, psychology, cymatics (the study of wave phenomena), public health, and quantum physics are demonstrating that thoughts can indeed be profoundly creative. In Mind to Matter, award-winning author Dawson Church examines the scientific facts and reviews the studies that show, step by step, exactly how our minds create material form. As each piece of the puzzle falls into place, the science turns out to be even more astonishing than the metaphysics.

Throughout the book, Church shares illuminating case histories - up-close, authentic personal accounts of people who had experiences of turning mind into matter. Drawn from the worlds of medicine, sports, business, healing, art, and scientific discovery, these stories run the gamut from profound to inspiring to heart-wrenching. Meticulously researched evidence is presented in highly relatable form, using engaging, understandable, nontechnical analogies.

As we discover how the universe operates synchronistically, we come to understand that while we have individual local minds, we also participate in universal nonlocal mind. Mind to Matter shows us that as we take charge of our individual power to create, we have the potential, as a species, to catalyze a transformation of our whole world.

Put the tips to work and they worked!

I tried out the EFT tapping on a migraine that I had before I started listening and sure enough it worked. Now, I'm going to focus my daily meditations with ideas from this book to watch other areas of my life transform.

Inspirational and Utterly Mesmerizing

Inspirational and utterly mesmerizing. Citing numerous scientific studies as well as personal experiences, Dawson Church’s Mind To Matter delves into the remarkable connection between thoughts, brainwaves, energy fields, vibration, coherence, synchronicities, healing, and meditation - and how all of these shape the material world we live in. He gives easy to follow activities to help us shift our consciousness, such as his simple yet powerful Ecomeditation, which quickly calms our overactive minds and any negative thoughts, and produces beneficial changes in the body. As someone who has found it difficult to meditate in the past, I found this method easy to do and afterwards have felt completely relaxed and yet vibrant - remarkable. This book is one I could read or listen to over and over - and gain some new insight each time. I can’t wait to share this with my loved ones. Thank you, Dawson Church! ☺️

Good foundational info

The author puts into plane terms how mind is the master of our reality . Our reality is the result of our mind in syncronisity with the universe. We must provide intention to our own energy and thereby enfluance the universal energy field with our intentions and therefore create a new reality.

Good stuff a bit repetitive at times, but drives home several princples which are required. Veryuch enjoyed this audiobook. chocked full examples and true life experiences to help with foundational concepts that would otherwise be difficult to visualize.
