Publisher's Summary

Learn how your thoughts hold the power to transform your life from the cells up.

It has been more than 15 years since the publication of The Biology of Belief, Dr. Bruce H. Lipton’s seminal book that changed the way we think about our lives, our health, and our planet. During that time, research in the field of epigenetics has grown exponentially, and Dr. Lipton’s groundbreaking experiments have been reinforced by more than a decade of rigorous scientific study.

Now, this unabridged audio of the book explores Dr. Lipton’s experiments and those of other leading-edge scientists who have unraveled the profound connections between the mind, body, and spirit.

It is now widely recognized that genes and DNA do not control our biology. Instead, they are controlled by signals from outside the cell, including energetic messages emanating from our thoughts. This profoundly hopeful synthesis of the latest and best research in cell biology and quantum physics puts the power to create a healthy, joyous life back in our own hands.

Through simple language, humor, and real-life examples, you’ll discover how epigenetics is revolutionizing our understanding of the link between mind and matter. When we transform our conscious and subconscious thoughts, Dr. Lipton teaches, we transform our lives - and in the process, we help humanity evolve to a new level of understanding and peace.

Narrated by Jeffrey Hedquist.

I'm glad to have waited for the 10th year edition

I finished the audio book in 2 work days and a bit at home while I washed the dishes. I felt like I was part of his research studies. Some of the stories I've heard before but not in depth like Bruce Mentions here.
I love how he links spirituality and science and I can resonate with so much he teaches, even though I only have basic community college science knowledge.
The narrator's voice was actually pleasant and engaging and helped me pay attention. I will definitely listen to again.

Eye opening - a must read for your health

I resisted buying this book so many times because I've followed Dr Bruce's work for years and figured I knew the content from listening to him on YouTube. This book has been an extreme eye opener as to why and how certain 'alternative' health methods work, and even how they've been suppressed.

The Biology of Belief is a must for anyone who wants to have a say in their own health, rather than hand it all over to doctors to make decisions for them. While, Dr Lipton clearly agrees we need doctors; too many people pass all the responsibility over without understanding their own part in their health.

Keep listening, there's a reason why the book lays down so many foundations and cites so many physicists, doctors, scientists, nobel prize winners and so on. If this wasn't included, the valuable information would be put down to quackery once again.

Don't waste your time

This book is nothing more than a bunch of citations. 7 hours in and he still hasn't gotten to any point...I wish I had my credit back.

Excellent.

This book is why I want to study Biology. I’m glad the narrator had good tone fluctuation as well. So much good info in this book I had to add tons of notes/clips. I did flip through this book (a physical copy) and was a bit sad that I didn’t read it from a physical book, as I saw it had quite a few photographs that you miss when you listen to it on audiobook.

Insightful and inspiring

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Dr. Lipton's book. It was well written, well-researched, thoughtful and inspiring. I've heard him speak and I love his take on the confluence of bilogy and spirit. I have also had positive experiences with energy medicine as a complement to conventional, holistic and functional practices, and his reseach validates the mechanisms by which these can work well together.

Wisdom acquired over time.

I had never heard of this author, saw his book on NetFlix show. Book was long with long points to make then he connects the dots very eloquently. High smarts man who discovered himself and it's really for our benefit because of what he shares and his vulnerability is genuine and relatable.

Eye-opening, engaging, fun

Eye-opening stuff written in an engaging way. New perspective on molecular biology wrapped in good humour. Yeah, Dr Lipton has a wonderful sense of humour.

Biological and environmental links spiritually

As someone with a scientific and psychological background this was an interesting perspective that has aligned with some of the experiences I have. A lot of surrounding topics was connected through the book so bigger picture thinking may help along side spacific focus when listening, I found myself pausing and asking deeper questions like... what does thhi imply? What will be the consequences and where could this lead? Overall his perspective is well presented.

A bit scientific but great

I’m sure this will be a plus for some people but at times this book was a little bit too scientific for me. Lots of information about cells etc. However in a way that just backs everything up and makes the easier bit easier to understand! Overall I found it very interesting and I’m glad I listened to it.

Science meets spirituality!

Amazing to witness the complete change of a quite conservative scientist into a happy and spiritually awake human being.
Love and empathy are key concepts in this uplifting book.

loved every part of this book

Bruce Lipton puts into words those thoughts which have talked around in my head and provides scientific evidence of that which eastern cultures have spoken of for millenia- that the way we think and the thoughts we allow shape and change the way we live. a must read/listen.

The school of basic biology.

Very easy listening. Information was useful. Narrator had a soothing voice. I had a tendency to fall asleep if I listened laying down.
