First book to confidently cover the dark side...

Most books like this simply cover the good side of spiritualism and glaze over the darkness in this world. This book confidently addresses both the light and dark sides of spiritualism. This is by far the best summarization of modern spirituality I've read. Kudos to author. This book not only held my interest but also answered some questions that have eluded me in several years of reading this type of stuff. Great book...

The Bigger Picture

This book is full of mind expanding, thought provoking, consciousness deepening information. I can tell he is sharing this information out of the love and care in his heart. He combines science and spirituality in a beautiful way. He also shares awakening and heart opening exercises that are deeply beautiful and transformative. I highly recommend this book. Thank you Ziad! <3

The Audio version I had hoped for.

Reality Unveiled is the type of book you end up buying multiple copies off to give to family and friends. Memorable and valuable in so many ways. So pleased to hear it read by Mitch Horowitz.

Check your skepticism at the door

I found the book heavy on “why”, yet leaner on “how” than I expected. That’s ok as a complement to other, perhaps more complete works like Why Buddhism is True, Zen Mind Beginners Mind. But if this your entry point into spirituality, there may be some tough intellectualization hurdles for you to overcome as Ziad talks about densities or expects you to accept conspiracies to dampen important scientific discoveries of the 20th century by powers who would rather humanity not become enlightened. While interesting and probably at some even true, these accounts were mostly unnecessary to the process he lays out at the end. But that’s only if you’ve come far enough in your spiritual journey that you no longer need to be “convinced” why spirituality is good for you as well as your neighbor or the universe for that matter.

The denigration of science

I purchased this book because I liked the idea it pursues. However, the author has made many unscientific assertions and has tried to pass them off as scientific fact. If you research these 'facts' further you will find in many instances the experiments that supposedly support them could not be independently verified or repeated, that statements have been cherry-picked and taken out of context. As a result this is a work of fiction. Don't waste your money.

Not For Everyone

I listened to the entire audio book. the narration was adequate, so, no problems there. where I have a problem is the message it gives.

The author espouses a belief that before you arrive here on earth, you have a pre-existence meeting with the powers that be too help decide what you need to experience, and map out your life as to what will happen and how it will happen. He tells you that everything that happens to you in this life is the result of what you agreed to in this meeting. This may be true, but, my gut tells me that this is New Age thinking fine wild.

If what he says is true, then you have no accountability for the outcomes of your actions, that everything happening is according to script, that you have no real control over your life's outcomes, and that you shouldn't sweat whatever happens because it's all designed to give you experience. And that's all learning, and all learning is good.

By this philosophy, Hitler, Stalin or Mao shouldn't suffer for their actions because they took on a roll that was designed to give those who came under their influence experience, which is good. Somehow, I don't think that these guys are being left off that easy.

He talks about much more than just what a rebooted reviewer above. And some of it had the ring of truth to it. But, beware of the error in his teachings. One may not wish to listen to this book If they haven't got a deep understanding on how to distinguish between truth and error. Just because it sounds good, and it fits with what you hope and wish were true, doesn't mean it is true.

Realization into the obvious

Interesting up to chapter 9. Afterwards becomes repetitive in stating the obvious. Looses momentum, nevertheless, interesting and re-assuring.
