Publisher's Summary

The honeymoon effect: a state of bliss, passion, energy, and health resulting from a huge love.

Your life is so beautiful that you can't wait to get up to start a new day, and you thank the Universe that you are alive. Think back on the most spectacular love affair of your life - the Big One that toppled you head over heels. For most it was a time of heartfelt bliss, robust health, and abundant energy - a firsthand experience of heaven on Earth.

Imagine what it would be like if you could maintain the honeymoon effect throughout your whole life.

Dr. Bruce H. Lipton describes how the honeymoon effect was not a chance event or a coincidence but a personal creation. Here, Dr. Lipton reveals how we manifest the honeymoon effect and the reasons why we lose it. This knowledge empowers listeners to create the honeymoon experience again, this time in a way that ensures a happily ever after relationship that even a Hollywood producer would love.

With authority, eloquence, and an accessible style, Lipton covers the influence of quantum physics (good vibrations), biochemistry (love potions), and psychology (the conscious and subconscious minds) in creating and sustaining loving relationships. He also asserts that we can learn from the example of the harmonious relationships of our 50 trillion cells to create a "super organism" called "humanity", which can heal our planet.

Good info but terrible narration

The author narrates the book, and it sounds like he is struggling to read. I'm not even picky about readers, but this was incredibly hard to listen to.

The information is very interested and laid out simply, so I enjoyed the topic but wish I had just read the hard copy instead.

One of my new favorite authors!

Will definitely be looking for more from this excellent writer! only two books on and I'm hooked. His scientific research backs up what shamans have known for millennia, but mainstream education systematically denies. Thanks for your courage and insight!

Awful narration

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narration is awful. He's trying to read as fast as he can in such a monotone voice. It's very hard to follow.

Enlightening to say the least

Now I understand why I am single. I had horrible parents. Which means I have horrible subconscious programming. Thanks to this amazing book, I now know what to fix and how to fix it. I also have resources to continue learning. Thank you Bruce!!!

Honeymoon Effect

What would have made The Honeymoon Effect better?

Better narrator. I couldn't even finish the book, the narrator made it impossible for me to concentrate on what he was saying. Sorry Bruce!

Has The Honeymoon Effect turned you off from other books in this genre?

No

Would you be willing to try another one of Bruce H. Lipton’s performances?

No

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I can't say. I really, really wanted to listen to this book, maybe I will try to get it on Kindle instead.

Spectacular Read

This book was an eye-opener especially after reading imagination by Neville Goddard and other books based on spiritual esoteric beliefs. This book talks about the science of biblical principles without using the Bible itself I’m grateful to this author for making such a spectacular Scientific study without looking at, previewing or even being involved in religious doctrine. I salute you sir!

Good author, great book, poor reader

Great pointers on how to attract, create and sustain a respectful, loving and boundless relationship.
However, listening to Dr Lipton read his own material is exasperating! He's a good writer and clearly a brilliant scientist and brain, but he is not a proficient reader.

Dr Lipton - please either get elocution lessons or recruit a reader/performer for your audio books. This suggestion comes from a place of love and kindness, since it would be a shame to lose listeners who would otherwise so greatly benefit from hearing and applying your material. Thank you

*Wonderfully insightful... a must read*

The book was especially interesting due to the author sharing his personal experience and how he overcame his 40 year cycle. It was a shame to come to the end of the book. Although I feel a revisit is necessary! Thank you Bruce.... I feel empowered now on my own journey!

Utterly amazing

Not only does Bruce explain things in ways everyone can understand , the volume of knowledge and empowerment the reader can gain from reading this book is ineffable.

A book that truly compliments his previous work with books like biology of belief , all I can say is I personally will be spreading the words about his work, this book, and together create a ripple that will emanate across the collective consciousness of humanity, creating heaven on earth .

Not as good as I'd hoped.

I bought this audio book having just finished Bruce's Wisdom of your Cells book, which I really enjoyed. I couldn't wait to start this one but it was a bit disappointing. I felt at times Bruce didn't want to be there reading the book and he definitely didn't sound as passionate as he had in his other book. Content was ok. I wouldn't read it again.

Over delivers on true inspiration

Rarely do I listen to a book and rave about its impact on me. This is one of them as Bruce does a brilliant job of describing his own life and then interpreting a pathway for me.
I love this book and thank you Bruce. You are extraordinary.

Brilliant!

I love Bruce Liptons work, and I so thoroughly enjoyed listening to it as he was the narrator and made listening easy and exciting, unlike when you have a monologue narration on other books that make me end up stop listening as the voice and the way they tell the story isn’t enticing. I give this a 10/10! Worth purchasing

Alter the Reading speed...

I just alter the reading speed - fabulous that I can slow down a fast reader. Sadly this wonderful book sounds very ‘read’ Bruce - rather than teaching style I was expecting.
Thanks

Narration is terrible

The speaker is talking far too fast in a rushed tone, didn't get to listen to the book, onky 2 minutes. It's rushed, in a mono tone and just irritating.
