Publisher's summary

"You've done better."

With one uncharacteristically sassy tweet to her longtime celebrity crush, Zoe Miller's life turns upside down. Ultrahot A-lister Chase Covington doesn't just respond to Zoe's tweet, he does the unthinkable: he messages Zoe directly. Now she must decide between walking away or meeting her crush in person.

Chase knows better than to trust anyone from the Internet, but Zoe's saucy challenge has totally caught his interest - and her girl-next-door personality is keeping it. He's been burned enough to know he needs to keep his heart close. But his feelings for Zoe might be a lot more than just an online flirtation. He just has to convince her...

When the press gets wind of Zoe and Chase's secret relationship, their romance turns into tabloid headlines. Will they be able to hold on to their Hollywood love story?

Good, sweet story. But a bit predictable.

This is my third story from this author. I really like the whole "clean romance" theme. It was cute. But, the plot lines and heronies are getting a bit predictable. :(

Great story and Bailey Carr is a superstar dramatic narrator

I may have reviewed this book before somewhere but after listening to for the fourth time it struck me how great the narration is and that Bailey Carr is perfect for this story. Congratulations to her for a great performance on a very good book. I would highly recommend the Audible version even if you have read the book.

This was my first book of Sarah Wilson. While the first part of the book was interesting, it then became very sweet YA read. don't get me wrong I love ya, but when Zoe best friend is gaga for Chase the main hero celebrity I rolled my eyes hard. I had to skim the last few chapters. It's just it seemed too simple/predictable. The writing was good though and Bailey Carr did an amazing narration.

#Starstruck

Sariah Wilson has given us a great series. The # (hashtag) series #Awestruck, #Moonstruck and #Starstruck. Three very different, clean stories that are all #Amazing! My next read will be The Seat Filler, also by Wilson. 😀

How old were they again?

The H/h seemed very immature at moments. The dialogue reminded me of someone in high school, maybe junior high, at times. Also the narrator was horrible! Her voice for a grown man sounded like a preteen surfer. The moments when it should have been sensual or steamy it just wasn’t! She did NOT deliver!

Really Good for a Clean Romance!

A lot of the so-called 'Clean' romances I've read are pretty juvenile. Usually, they still curse, but just use grade-school curses of "Darnit" and such. Which is still cursing. Sigh.

A GOOD clean romance does what this one did. Get me halfway through the book before I realize that the cursing is never explicit. The characters mumble or growl incomprehensible words because the author knows even people who don't curse are around people who may curse occasionally.

I didn't even mind the reason for no sex, it made sense for this character.

The story was great.

Now, my problem is going to be continuing the series. Will the no-sex before marriage fit with all the stories? Because let's face it, that's extremely outdated and old-fashioned for adults in this day and age. I can believe it of one character, there are actual people who choose to wait - although I prefer them waiting for love, not marriage because marriage isn't unbreakable and smacks of religion. Waiting for a true love speaks to morals. But for one person, great! Love the story.

But it stretches my belief to have so many in one series that aren't religious yet waiting for marriage? It's a way to preach at your readers and I really dislike that.

Not every character an author creates should have the same beliefs.

I'll finish the series, the writing was that good. I may even pick up a different series. But if all the characters are waiting for marriage I'm going to get bored fast. It's not the sex. I don't have to have sex scenes.

It's the same characters over and over again preaching the same thing. THAT isn't what I want in a book series. I want love and variety and different characters overcoming obstacles to find the perfect love. Some may wait for sex or not, I don't care. But I prefer authors with more than one type of story.

I want to meet the Real Chase Covington

#Starstruck by Sariah Wilson completely captivated my interests. It is a sweet sexy read that tells about a girl who meets her celebrity crush in the most unlikely circumstance. But when fantasy becomes a reality it might just be too much to handle.

I could not put this book down. I loved every moment of it. Sariah Wilson has the ability to make me feel each and every emotion her memorable characters experienced. I love the world that was created in this book. My only wish is that the book didn't have to end.

Bailey Carr does a fantastic job narrating this book. She brought the world Sariah Wilson created come to life. I will definitely be looking for more books narrated by Bailey in the future.

AMAZING .. couldn't put it down

OMG OMG LOL LOL LOL <3
This book was such a fun ride .. I laughed a lot and I swooned just the same, for all the girls who ever had a crush on a celebrity just insert yourself in the story with your crush and you will enjoy this book so much ( That's what I did for sure <3 ) .. it was really good .. my only problem was the main character Zoe was really stupid some times that she annoyed me but Chase is such an angel <3 <3 I love him so much, I really hope to read more books like this with a smarter female character :)

The narration was just amazing .. I just love how she feels each character and their emotions that I felt so engrossed in the story and I couldn't put it down until I finished it

PS: some people will find this book so immature all you have to do is channel your inner teenage girl and you'll be fine ;)

#keeper

#starstruck is definitely worth a listen/read. Fun, flirty, and educational too. This Cinderella romance is just the kind of fun any fangirl/fanboy can appreciate.

Even "normal" people can have the fairytale. #Starstruck is proof that while its unusual it's not impossible because fact is usually stranger than fiction.

I enjoyed everything about #Starstruck from Zoe's particular "quirk" to the tension it created. From her life choice to his adamant denial for matrimony, I knew compromise was going to have to be made. I'm glad to have seen who made the compromise.

A modern fairy tale

Zoe and Chase meet online and become sweethearts, despite the pressures of being a celebrity. While a bit predictable, the story flows smoothly and the dates made me smile. The secondary characters were fun, especially Zoe’s family, giving the story a lighter feel. The best part for me is that Zoe is a jeopardy nerd, and the show made a guest appearance!
