Great

I loved Gracie and Alex! This was so different from Mariana's usual stories but OMG she still hit it out of the park. I can't wait to see what else she gives us in the future.

Unbelievably good

I have loved every book I’ve listened to by this author. This story is no exception. I f’ing LOVED it and the characters. I got all the feels. Worth a credit for sure.

Great story

At first I thought what was Zapata thinking when she wrote this book but you get hooked and can’t stop listening to it. I couldn’t put it down. Again Zapata hit a home run with this book. Can’t wait for the sequel to Alexander and Gracie. This story line was bizarre with Alexander having powers and Gracie being so self sufficient until he comes along. Loved the fact that she finds out she has special powers. Would have loved more on their marriage.

Oh MZ, you are amazing!

MZ, I love your writing so darn much! They don't call you the Queen of slow-burn for no reason. This book did not disappoint! I just finished it and I'm so sad it's over. I loved it as much as my other two favs, Kulti and The Wall of Winnepeg and Me. Callie was amazing, as always! I've never listened to Connor before and now he's up there with my favs! The narrators were perfect! If you're on the fence about this one, don't be! Go for it!

The narration was engaging.

The MMC was deeply insulting to the FMC. When I think grumpy I think My Fair Lady, not unhappy because of abuse—which is righteous anger. If it wasn’t for the narrators I would have stopped listening. I finished it so I gave it 3 stars. The narrators are top notch—the kind that can be used for concentration. You could listen to this book without headphones for 98% of it.

Mariana Zapata does it again

I was so sad I had to wait so damned long for this to come out as an audiobook so I could listen to it while taking care of my toddler haha but it was WELL worth the wait. I loved every second of every chapter and could not wait for the HEA <3

Her best book yet

This was my favorite book from Mariana Zapata and I’ve read them all. The story was slow and sweet, I loved the supernatural story line of it. 10 out of 10

What’s not to love? (The answer is nothing. I love it)

I love that Callie Dalton narrates all of Mariana Zapatas books and Connor Crais’ voice is so wonderful! I melted. I swooned. I WILL listen to this over and over. I need me a grump with this deep timbered voice. Great picks! Also just Mariana Zapata’s writing is superb as always. I love every single thing she puts out. And I always love it more the second + time(s) around, whether that’s by reading or listening.
