Publisher's Summary

King Hall - where the Mysticals go to learn their craft, get their degrees, and transition into adulthood. And where four new Rulers will rise and meet their destinies.

Lily Ruckler is adept at one thing: Survival. Born a Mystical hybrid, her mere existence is forbidden, but her nightmare is only about to start. Fluke, happenstance, and a deep personal loss finds Lily deeply entrenched with those who would destroy her simply for existing - The Mystical Kings. Being named future Queen of the Shifters shoves Lily into the spotlight, making her one of the most visible Mysticals in the world. But with risk comes a certain solace - her burgeoning friendships with the other three Rulers: A wicked Vampire, a wild-child Mage, and a playboy Elemental. Backed by their faith and trust, Lily begins to relax into her new life.

Then chaos erupts as the fragile peace between Commoners and Mysticals is broken, and suddenly Lily realizes the greatest threat was never from within, and her fear takes on a new name: The Revolution.

Can't wait to see if Audible gets book two!

Would you consider the audio edition of King Hall to be better than the print version?

I don't know I didn't read the printed version of this book. But I can say I'm the very tempted to go on and read the second book. But I like to stick with what I start with. So Im going to wait and see if Audible gets it. If not soon through it will be on. Because I want to know what happens right now.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I like all of them but Ezra and Lily have a vibe that just makes me smile.

Which character – as performed by Chandra Skyye – was your favorite?

I think she was awesome. There was no one character that was performed better than the others. To me any way and thats how I like it. It breaks character for me in my little play that goes on in my head if some are better than others. I will be looking for more performed by her.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Oh man! I cried the kind that had to get the tissue box kind. Then laughed, got mad, I think I went through a roller coster and loved it the whole time.

Any additional comments?

I have been a member of Audible for a couple of years now and have hear a lot of books that I have really liked. But this is the first that I have liked enough to leave a review for.

Love It

I wish they would finish the rest of these books with the same narrator!! I was hooked five minutes into the book and was so excited to start the next! Just wish it would have had an audio companion for those times when life gets in the way and you actually have to put the book down!! Wonderful series and loved the narrator!!

Great concept

Where does King Hall rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Great story line. I loved the story so much I listened to it from start to end in one day.

What did you like best about this story?

I love how you bring all the supernatural beings together, working on any and all problems.

Any additional comments?

The only problem is that it takes way to long for the next book " BOOK 2" to be put onto audible. It has been nearly a year and a half since I brought this book and have been checking for book 2. I'm not much of a reader but I can listen to two or three books a day. Anyway, it is a great book and I hope your next one comes to Audible.

Love It!

Such a great story, even better being read aloud. I wish the other books in this series were available on audible books, but hopefully soon.

good story for YA

the Narrator was awesome! she did so good with the voices of the prodigies. she made the story work! they way the kings handled things was a little unbelievable for me. they were not Alpha enough. they were tough on the prodigies but not to the "coms" regular humans. a real vampire king or Shifter king would be out there kicking butt! I wish Lilly would just say yes I am a hybrid and nothing is wrong with me. and go kick some butt!

Did I miss something?

I'm a couple of chapters in. It's not bad, but I keep thinking I must have missed a prologue or 1st book. What is the setting? How did the characters end up there? What time period are we in (I mean, they're practicing mysticals, but still being taught how to put condoms on bananas?). How did Lily get there, and why just one sentence to explain that her mother drowned? I'll keep going, but before I do, I wish someone would let me know if there's another book I should read first?

the reader is annoying and very monotonous

the book is great but the voice actor/reader, is very boring and the few times she attempts different voices, she sounds ridiculous.

Friendship

I really enjoyed the story of Lily, Ezra, Jack and Pearl. I loved the friendship that they shared and how they re-acted to Lily's secret.

Chandra Skyye was a great narrator for the story.

I was a bit confused at the beginning of the book due to a character and Lily that I thought this may have been a sequel but I'm glad I continued to listen.

Excellent story.
