An assassins witch and pirates? Sign me up for this one! I was hooked from the very beginning of this audiobook and I couldn’t pause listening if I wanted to.
Not only did I love the characters, even the cranky Captain, but I loved the world as well. This is such a great action packed book with some amazing romance tossed in.
The narrators did such an amazing job bring this story to life!

WELL. I love shifter romances now. 🤣
Magic, vampires, witches, shifters, sea creatures… IT HAS IT ALL. 🥳
Also. Also. ALSO. It’s a why choose with all the most glorious men. 🥵
Nilsa, the main FMC, she’s a strong BA witch and I love her. I can’t get enough. 🫶🏼
Bridget and Jake in DUET 🫠 it’s a game changer and I’m going to need this from here on out. It’s so much fun to hear you both in the chapters!!
Seriously this is a lot of fun and I’m diving into book two right away!! 🖤

LOVE this series!
Sooooo happy this is an audiobook! love this series and have read it too many times to count so I was super excited to see it as an audio! Alittle disappointed in the guys voices, they end up all sounding the same but otherwise, beautiful. Can't wait for the others!

Thrilling and entertaining
These two narrators know how to put on a show. Their voices pull you into a story and never let go. I could feel the angst and passion against my skin. It was such a fun experience. The story is thrilling and entertaining. It keeps you wanting more. The characters are each uniquely their own. I can’t wait to see what’s next!

Oooooo this is gonna be so good!
Nilsa is a Lunar Witch who’s been lied to her whole life. She now finds out she has an immortal harem consisting of pirates and a siren. Only problem? She’s currently being held captive and needs to escape quickly. I cannot wait to start book 2. The cliffhanger was the worst. As always I cannot recommend the audio enough. Jake and Bridget bring these characters to live with different voices and personalities. If they narrate it, I want it.

Really enjoyed this story line. It’s a different twist on light and dark witches and really enjoyed it. Can’t wait to dive into more and see where this series goes.

Amazing!!!
I LOVED THIS!! Such great world building, characters, action, suspense, drama, romance, some spice etc... you get the point. Plus, it's done in Duet Narration!! The narrator's totally kicked @$$ in this story! but the Bordeaux's usually do! I'm on to the next one! Hopefully the 3rd and final won't take too long to come out!

A++++ ALL AROUND. I'm not big on leaving reviews but I don’t want to copy and paste the review I left on The Deadwood bk 2.
My 1st time reading a book by Marie Mistry but it shall not be my last!
I think this might be my 1st time listening to the sexy narrating duo Bridget Bordeaux & Jake Bordeaux. I will be on the lookout for other titles read by these beautiful voiced people.
