I did not anticipate to enjoy this book as much as I did. It's a rock star/mafia/reverses harem lol who knew all those tropes would work so well together? I loved this book and can easily say it's one of my favorite books of this year. I listened to it in one day and I haven't devoured a book like that in ages. The first book is a slow burn but I already started the second book and it keeps getting just better! I'm beyond excited to read the rest of this series😍 It's available on KU and the Audible book is also fantastic 😘

Poison Roses was nothing like I guessed it was going to be and yet everything I expected. I went in blind, barely even knowing the boys of bellerose were a rock band, and really just knowing it was a why choose and that Tate co-wrote it... the plot knocked me off my feet. A why choose where we get two second chance, first loves to enemies to lovers and two instalove/lust lovers?! YES PLEASE. The dynamics between these 5 characters were absolutely incredible. The writing was everything I was hoping for. I've never read Jaymin before, but I absolutely loved this pairing. I'll be adding some solo Jaymin to my tbr soon so I can experience her writing solo.

One book in and I'm already head over heels for all of these boys. I can't wait to get to know Jace and Angel better, especially on a physical level. Those two are broody as all get out and I love the way Jace attempts to keep his emotions under wraps when he's near Billie, especially around Rhett and Grayson. Rhett and Grayson are to unalive for too. When they finally started their little "competition" I about squealed out loud I was so happy. I'm hoping we get some more, erm, crowded bedroom in the next book because I am here for these two devouring Billie whole.

That ending was very typical Tate. I'm so happy I get to dive right into Dirty Truths because I'm not sure I could handle waiting even just a month. Too bad I'll be waiting for the rest of the series, as these are officially midnight release downloads for me. I can't wait for more.
