almost like a "guilty pleasure" series

i'm writing this review after finishing the series. the first book is definitely the hardest to get through because even though the characters are in college, it seems like they act more like catty teenagers in high school. not much happens until the very end. i liked the middle books but then by book 5-6, the spicy scenes became repetitive and even a little over the top (at least for me) - like can she really keep going that many times in a row?? the "battle" scenes were not well detailed and kind of abrupt. i really just finished the series because i wanted to know how it would end. i thought that the world building and the character building were just okay. not something i would read again.

Ok story

storyline wasn't bad, but it was really drug out and was more about a young whiney teenager. I get the need to show the petulenance, but they didn't develop the story much past that. based on the description, I expected a different level of sexual tension. Not a constant denial if it.

The narrator did a good job with what she had and kept me listening. But I don't think I'm going to get the next one in the series as it seems to be more of the same based on the description.

Absolutely loved this book from beginning to end. Narration was amazing as well. I'm looking forward to book 2 in the series

Addictive!

I’m not usually a RH fan, but this book was totally addictive. I cannot wait to dive into the next one.

It took a second for me, but once it grabbed me I was hooked!! 💜💜💜 definitely a must
