Publisher's Summary

They say size doesn't matter....

Football star and Internet sensation Gavin "Anaconda" Adams is the biggest celebrity our little town has ever seen.

But I had no idea who he was when I accidentally walked in on him naked. I was shocked, seeing all of him, a cocky grin on his face. I didn't know what to do.

So I ran.

Now I'm in a world of trouble. No matter what I do, I can't get that image out of my head. His strong muscular thighs. His washboard abs. His big, throbbing, toe-curling...Jesus!

To make matters worse, Gavin wants a date with me. He's seen the lust in my eyes, and he's not taking no for an answer. I should tell him to get lost. He's nothing but trouble, and he's only here for a week. But with one look, I go weak in the knees. And whenever I hear his deep, rich voice, I feel my defenses crumbling. It's only one night. What could it hurt?

Anaconda is a full-length sexy romantic comedy with an HEA, no cheating, and no cliffhanger!

disappointed

I usually love this writer's stories but this one did not bring it home to me. The story was flat, predictable and lacked on sustenance. The intimate scenes were nothing to write home about either. There was no flow with the story, it was cut up and jumped to big moments between the two leads very quickly. am very disappointed at the male's voice, it is hard to believe that voice comes from a 20something football star. the female voice sounded very much to Miley Cyrus. Again, I am very disappointed with this story.

The dialogue

The dialogue was a little off for me. It amazed me that the hero could go from zero to sixty in anger and then calm back down in the next second or so.
Also the male narrator's women's voices were all nasally but I love when a man mostly reads and we hear things from his POV.
On the plus side I've been looking for a really good BWWM romance and though this one did not stipulate, I could easily picture the heroine as a light skinned black woman which satisfies that itch.
Good story over all and I will definitely look out for more of the author's books.

Good Listen

Brianna goes tho clean a room thinking it's empty and Gavin comes out of the bathroom naked. It was immediate attraction but Brianna runs. This relationship is funny and Gavin has to fight for what he wants. Great narration. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator.

The male narrator in this does not have an erotic voice at all and not a very good story

The male narrator does not have an erotic voice at all. Just sounds like a really bad reading. The story was not that good. Female voice should have read the whole thing if they could not have gotten better male to read

There was no chemistry or comedy. Everything seemed forced

I was expecting a romantic comedy, there was none. The h best friend was supposed to be funny, but was just snarky. The was no chemistry between any of the characters.

Too Hot

I loved reading the book, but to hear Bree and Gavin come to life was just HOT. The narrator's totally brought the characters to life. Mr. V's accent in real life was just that much better. The steamy scenes were also better when the voices aren't just in your head. Loved it.

love love love

i am in love with this story. The performance of the narrator's was amazing. They made the telling of this story great. Gavin was a little spioled but i found that him finding Bree made him look at life different. The sexy scenes read from the narrator's mostly the last one was Hot. I read and listened to this story and i love both but this version makes it come to life.

Fun Listen!

I read this book before I listened to it. I think the e-book was better than the audiobook. I didn't think the narrators voices matched my mental image of the characters. I have read and listened to several books by Lauren Landish and enjoy her style and humor, along with the happy endings, no cheating, and no cliffhangers. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. If you want a synopsis, read the professional blurb. I was provided with this review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily written my review.

I don't normally write negative review.....

However, this book sounded like it was written by a 20 year old, who used curse words as fillers. Even if you allow for insta love in the books you read, there was hardly any up of characters. The chemistry wasn't there. The narration was actually annoying, at times Med like nails on a chalkboard. I managed to finish the book, but I don't why and would never recommend it.

Love With A Laugh!

Gavin is a football player who gained notoriety for a wardrobe malfunction and is in town for a week to try his hand at acting. Brianna is a maid at the hotel where he was staying and enters his room to clean and comes across Gavin exiting the shower. After taking a moment to admire the view she bolts however Gavin has decided that he wants her and the chase is on. They begin to date but Brianna is not sure what Gavin sees in her when he could have anyone and what happens at the end of the week?

I enjoyed the narration especially for Gavin as the depth and tone of his voice was exactly how I pictured him.

I voluntarily reviewed an Compliment Copy of this audiobook.
