Are you ready for the Southern Wedding series?

Things are supposed to go smoothly on your wedding day. Aren't they?

Are you ready for the Wedding series?

Harlow

I promised him I would be there for the best day of his life. Not thinking I wouldn’t be the one standing next to him. But here I was attending the love of my life’s wedding day. I smiled when I saw him and pushed back the tears that wanted to come out.  This was his day, and I was going to fulfill my promise.

Travis

It was supposed to be the best day of my life. But the second I got up, things started to fall apart. The kitchen just caught on fire. Flowers were from a funeral. My bride-to-be just had an allergic reaction, leaving by ambulance. Oh, and my ex-girlfriend just walked into the church.

They say you have to see the signs when they are right in front of you. Maybe she was just mine to have.

I've not listened to anything with Sean Crisden before I don't think he did an amazing job .Savannah Peachwood is one of my go too female narrators.

Amazing second chance!

this was a fun second chance romance that blooms in college for Harlow and Travis. this one starts when they are entering their freshman year of college and then ends right before graduation. Travis breaks up with Harlow because he doesn't want to do long distance and he doesn't want to make her choose between him and her family. then their story jumps a few years later when once day Harlow receives a wedding invitation to Travis' wedding...to someone else. she decides to go, and it was game over when he sees her again. lucky for him, his bride at the time decides that she cant marry him. so he leaves the wedding with Harlow. and bam, they are reminded of their old spark. from there they decide they cant go without each other and they have to learn to navigate between both of their very high demanding jobs as veterinarians. the biggest thing you see them both learn is that communication is key is any relationship! i enjoyed this one for sure.

4 stars

tropes:
- small town
- second chance
- college aged -> present
- friends to lovers
- both veterinarians

Adored these characters

I have admired this cover for so long and I finally jumped into this series.
I listened to this on audio and it was fantastic. The narrators were perfection. Savannah is one of my favorites.
This story was so different from what I was expecting in the best way. I am sucker for college and that is where they start their romance. I enjoyed that they were both going to school to be veterinarians. The break up got me right in the feels. Some total miscommunication that leads to a big break until they are reunited in the most unexpected, holy shit kind of way.
I just really liked them together. They are so smart and committed to the things that matter to them. I was rooting for them completely. And this kicks off a whole series that I am sure is going to be great reads.

Sean crisden

The book is good but when Sean crisden does the female voices, it is SO cringy. I almost couldn’t finish listening because of him.
