terrible narration

if you enjoy listening to a robot, you will enjoy this book. It is informative, but very hard to listen to, especially for over 11 hours. I would recommend just getting the book. This is the worst audible I have listened to.

Horrible Narration

Pronunciation of many words was incorrect and cadence of narration was awkward making it difficult to understand at times.

Couldn't get passed all the "her or him"

I'm sure there is excellent information in the book; but using Her or him/he or she/hers or his every time you reference the child gets redundant fast. I could no longer focus on what was being said outside of these, especially when there were multiple items in a sentence.

Hard to listen to !

Much of the information is useful but simplistic.
The constant use of “he or she”, “him or her”. Readers do not need to be read down to.
The reader’s voice is not pleasant in my opinion especially for such a lengthy reading. It was hard for me to stay focused with her voice quality.

Narrator Hard to Listen To, Couldn't Finish

I really wanted to like this purchase, but I couldn't get through the whole book because the narrator is incredibly difficult to listen to.

It would be nice if I could get a refund or this audiobook could be updated with a narrator thays easier to listen to, otherwise I feel like I wasted a credit that I couldve used for any one of the other books I would've liked to listen to on my wishlist...

Worst audible reading

The narrator is super slow and emotionless, like someone else said, robotic. So many long pauses between sentences. I’ll have to just buy the book to see if the content is worthwhile

Try the real positive parenting solutions book instead

Couldn’t finish this. A lot of opinions with not a lot of evidence based claims. Based on opinion instead of actual research. Narration is awful with tonal inflections at the wrong part of normal sentence structure.

Difficult to listen to

The content of this books seems excellent and I’m sure it would be helpful for my child, but the narrator’s cadence is so unnatural that it makes it difficult to follow and I couldn’t stand listening past the second chapter. I’ll have to buy the book to read instead.

Synthesized narrator is hard to endure.

This book is highly repetitive in it's speech and the narrator sounds like a robot. I couldn't finish it.

The importance of nonverbal communication in famil

I learned how to recognise nonverbal communication signs and understand what my child is attempting to communicate. Throughout the day, I am paying more attention to my gestures and body language. Very enlightening reading!
