Sensible and practical

This book cuts through the fluff and encourages facing your emotions head on to achieve inter peace.
Instead of suppressing fears, anxiety, or frustrations... this listen offers solutions for working through difficult situations.
On my quest to bring peace into my life I've listened to many books that suggest if I do this or that I'll be in a happy state of bliss.
And I get that I'm controlling my personal growth.
If I don't put in the work, I won't be the best version of me.
Sometimes it's hard to be happy when bad things happen.
This book speaks to me on a level
where it's ok if I'm sad, frustrated or aggravated with how things are going because these emotions are neither good nor bad just something I have to work through.
These techniques helped to restore my mental stability and bring my awareness back to the moment and away from the chaos that surrounds me.
I also think the narrator was an excellent fit for this book.
For anyone struggling to find their ☺ place I suggest using this book as a tool to get to the next destination.

Easy readable and motivational to help you get through life with an edge of mental state

I came across this book as I was looking at self improvement techniques. This book was certainly a easy read, I read the entire book without a break which has never happened before. As he speaks you get encouraged and want to learn more.

Personally, I have not learned anything about mindfulness before I started reading this book. I got the idea that it's not that hard because the author gives you easy exercises to improve your mindfulness. You can simply be aware of these exercises when you are going through your day and use them as tools for an improved life and reaching your goals:)

Absolutely outstanding. Everyone can benefit from this book.

A great book. Very concise and to the point. Excellent narration. I wish I had read this years ago. This will help you to be a better person.

I can put into practice mindfulness in my work and home life based on the techniques learned from this book. I love all of the positive information received from this book.

Best way to get started

As someone who has purchase several mindfulness books; I should have started with this one. This is a great introduction to mindfulness meditation and learning concepts. I intend to use this audio book in my daily routine. I strongly recommended this book first before you puchase long winded books on the same subject.

"Working on yourself is the way , the only way".

I like simple and concise written books that open space in my mind to read in between the lines, to reflect and to retain the important information that I will later apply in my daily work for self-growth. This is the right book to start if in need for basic meditation advice.

Useful and easy to follow

I enjoy your work, Ian. It has helped me establish what I do well and what can be improved as well as practical steps. I

Enjoyable and Informative

Thank you for writing this book on Mindfulness. As a novice on the subject, it opened up a world of examples on how to introduce Mindfulness into my everyday life. I found the narrator's voice slightly systematic. For me, I would have enjoyed it more listening to a warmer, mindful tone of voice especially for this type of content. Overall, it was an enjoyable and informative book.

Good listen

This is a tremendous book. It's a strangely comprehensive check out the principles, techniques and applications of mindfulness and meditation. a real potential life changer. i used to be captivated from starting to end and can be pertaining to it again and again.

Easy, insightful but needed more

Awesome read but would have liked a summary of all steps to take at end of book. I wanted to go through a plan and nut out best integration of techniques for myself but now have to relisten and note take
