Awesome one

The greatest idea is to be certain of the clarity-are you clear what the goal is, have you inspected and define terms, what is or are the assumptions, and what experience, observations and facts do you have. and finally, is there a need-if you haven't obtain your goals is because is a want but is not a need or necessity.

Think Smarter - and get this book!

This book was very easy to read and did make a lot of sense. I wish this book was required reading for freshmen in high school. I was able to skim through the book and still pick up important pieces of information. I will be going back to read it more carefully. I like his writing style, not prosy or verbose.

Great one

Think Smarter is one of several books exploring the world of structured thinking and problem-solving. Both are critical in a world where we are asked to make multiple complex decisions every day and many times without really knowing it. Kallet's book provides useful tools as well as processes to help clear the clutter and recognize issues and options.

Learn to think for yourself

Good. But not excellent. Started well. Then branched off into other fields. Critical thinking is something that is to be trained.

Very good

Excellent book and very timely in an era of fake news and biased media pushing their agendas rather than reporting g the facts.

Great for self-improvement

As with all of Ian’s books, he has packed in a lot of information BUT translates it in a way that is very similar to conversational dialogue, making it easy to understand & read. This is an important book for anyone ready and willing to make a change within themselves

Very ( critical) thought provoking.

I enjoyed the book. several times I found myself recognising that I have fallen for stories that do not add up and I will be careful in the future. Much of this is common sense but sadly, common sense is not necessarily commonplace. I think I will re visit the book in a month or so to check on how I am doing.

The book is very well-researched

The book is very well-researched. Ian has made it easy to follow his thinking—despite the cerebral topic. He exposes many of the operating systems set up to trap us into making extremely bad decisions. Ian does his best to explain those traps while at the same time he encourages us to examine our own biases and faulty thinking. What better time in our chaotic world to have such a helpful guide. Great book!
