Story
One afternoon - after another failed attempt to get motivated to exercise - I (accidentally) started my first mini habit. I initially committed to do one push-up, and it turned into a full workout. I was shocked. This "stupid idea" wasn't supposed to work. I was shocked again when my success with this strategy continued for months (and to this day). I had to consider that maybe I wasn't the problem in those 10 years of mediocre results. Maybe it was my prior strategies that were ineffective, despite being oft-repeated as "the way to change" in countless books.

Why is it so hard to make lasting changes in our companies, in our communities, and in our own lives? The primary obstacle is a conflict that's built into our brains, say Chip and Dan Heath, authors of the critically acclaimed best seller Made to Stick. Psychologists have discovered that our minds are ruled by two different systems - the rational mind and the emotional mind - that compete for control. The rational mind wants a great beach body; the emotional mind wants that Oreo cookie.

Fantastic book, helped me so much!
What did you love best about How to Stop Procrastination & Get More Done in Less Time!?
How useful it was. I have read a LOT of books in this genre and found so many of them to be full of nonsense and a chore to get through. This was to the point and gave me advice I could ACTUALLY apply and not just a lot of nonsense.
Have you listened to any of Christian Erickson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
First time but great narration.
Any additional comments?
I cannot recommend this highly enough. For the extremely cheap price, I was shocked how good it was. Awesome content. to the point, great narration.
Helped me loads, covered everything i needed and within days I found myself basically getting more stuff done! Thanks

Incredibly inspiring
Where does How to Stop Procrastination & Get More Done in Less Time! rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
The best self help book by far that i've heard. Well laid out and inspiring. The narrator captures the tone of the writer perfectly.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes I listened to the whole thing start to finish as it was so engaging but it's also laid out in such a way that you can leap back and forth into sections. Great for a quiet afternoon or the drive to work.
Any additional comments?
It was broken up into nice digestible parts that were full of great ideas and lessons on how to overcome procrastination. I was guilty of so many of the points that the book talked about but it wasn't till I heard them so clearly explained that I was able to face up to them.

I highly recommend this Audiobook
I noticed that whenever I get a lot of work, I start to procrastinate because of all of the stress that comes along with it. It's so easy to stress out and think about all of the work that needs to get done. I decided to download this book in order to stop me from procrastinating on the things that I really need to get done. It's so easy to say that I will do it later and then nothing gets done. I loved the tips in this book. I loved the advice to take a break and clear my mind. This has really helped me to become more efficient and to get more done. I feel more motivated after reading this book and feel that I will be able to stop procrastinating and get my work done!

I was going to write this later ;-)
Would you listen to How to Stop Procrastination & Get More Done in Less Time! again? Why?
Yes, I would listen to the book again. it helps to go over the strategies that helped me reduce the way I procrastinate. Secondly, I like the anecdotal style of the narration. Lastly, the length of the book is ideal for a quick read during down time.
What did you learn from How to Stop Procrastination & Get More Done in Less Time! that you would use in your daily life?
I learnt the idea of to-do lists. By making simple daily routines at night, I am more organized in the morning and find that I have less of a hassle deciding exactly what I want to achieve daily. I also stopped overthinking lists which apparently is another form of procrastination! Who knew! I like the fact that it was a very practical book. It used real examples to pass the lessons across. For example, when the author talked about limited choices, he gave an example that was very easy to relate with. Procrastination sometimes is viewed as an issue that only affects work life but the example of not going out with friends because one could procrastinate when deciding who to see drove home the point to me. That was because it was something I did a lot without realizing I was procrastinating! Now when I go to a new restaurant and I find the menu imposing, I either ask the waiter to surprise me or I just pick something I want, say steak and limit my choice to a steak dish. It sounds very simple but you can’t imagine how much time I’m saving by making the simple decisions faster.
Any additional comments?
I would recommend this book to my friends, in fact I already have sent it to my neighbour who never gets anything done in time for our weekly book club. It’s a book that touches on the psychology behind procrastination. It lets the listeners understand the reasons why people push things further in time and sometimes end up not doing them. Most importantly, the book proffered diverse solutions that would help even the most unrepentant procrastinator reconsider his ways. There were so many tips and strategies for overcoming this bad habit that I found something that worked for me. Just like the book prescribed, I finally took a good long look at myself and understand why I usually put things off till later. It usually was because I assumed I had more time to do it later and then ended up doing other mundane things. Last minute rushing became the norm for me and this caused me to hand in hastily put together reports at work. If I wasn’t late to an event, I was just in the nick of time. By valuing my time more and prioritizing my tasks to the earlier part of the day which I decided was my most productive and active time of the day, I have been able to achieve more tasks than I used to in the past. I can say this book has improved my personal and work life.

An outstanding and brilliant guide to manage time
What did you love best about How to Stop Procrastination & Get More Done in Less Time!?
I just loved the narrator’s speech and listening to that voice was excellent to be able to work on things while getting tips and ideas to stop procrastination helped me a lot. I would recommend this audio book at 10/10 with other audio books. The tips and guidelines shared were very helpful. It’s one of the finest books ever I have ever purchased.
I must say, as an audio book it was very well performed, overall, just loved it very much and encountered new experiences from this incredibly amazing audio book
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I listened to this audio book many times. It's not something you can pay attention to in one setting because the writer gives you particular projects to achieve throughout your day. Such projects & tasks include creating lists, adhering to your objectives, creating particular long lasting and temporary goals, and etc. This is a book you want to consume gradually to help make sure you are acting upon each step and really understanding each topic (section).
Any additional comments?
The exquisite tips and advices i got for those two hours were very helpful, and its impact has been positively impacting my fight towards removing procrastination. Being in a college, managing my time and handling all the tasks is been quite a difficult thing to do. Due to part-time jobs, traveling for fun with friends, family and enjoying myself, I have been regularly procrastinating so many things in my life. Reading and doing tasks have been among the best victims of delaying. When seeking help, one of my buddies recommended this guide.
By listening to this amazing audio book, paying attention to the guide and applying the mentioned ideas, I have been able to reduce delay and avoid putting factors off by avoiding wasting time by eliminating delays and allocating less time to less important stuff and things. This guide is a must buy for anybody who is vulnerable to procrastination and will offer great help. Highly recommended!

Where does How to Stop Procrastination & Get More Done in Less Time! rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I liked the narrators voice and listening was great to be able to work on things while getting tips and ideas to stop procrastinating helped me a lot. I would rank this an 8/10 with other audio books. The tips were useful.
What does Christian Erickson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
calm soothing voice to listen to, not stumbling on words (how I do) just easier for a dyslexic like me to listen to things and understand everything and not have to stop and re read a section. I really enjoyed the narrators voice.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
sure I listened to it in one sitting while doing house chores. It's short and multitasking is my game. =)

This is the book I never knew I needed!
Where does How to Stop Procrastination & Get More Done in Less Time! rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I would rank this one pretty high at the top, actually. The tips were really helpful for a procrastination-aholic like me. I have read quite a few books on productivity and time management, but I loved the sense of fun behind the efficiency of this one.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I guess you could say my favorites were the narrator -- and me! The book broke things down in a way that was easy to understand and digest: realistic little bits, instead of random psycho-babble that leaves the reader to connect the dots. There was also a bit of a humorous edge to the writing, which made facing those hard truths (such as, FINALLY admitting I'm a procrastinator) a lot more palatable.
Which character – as performed by Christian Erickson – was your favorite?
Erickson simply narrated the book, it wasn't a fiction book with characters. I have to admit, I found his voice nasal and grating at first -- really kind of unpleasant. But as we moved through this book together, I felt like I got to "know" him better, and began enjoying his company during my commute to work -- It wasn't easy to get our relationship to hat point — but we got there in the end!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I was moved by the overall concept. This book made me feel like procrastination is just a fact of life; all humans do it, and it is OK to admit it so that we can try to get things moving in the right direction. The tone of the book wasn't preachy or judgmental, and that made me feel great about reading it.
Any additional comments?
Because the book is written in a friendly style, and doesn't make you feel like you're being lectured like a naughty child who didn't clean their room (though, admittedly, cleaning is one thing I do procrastinate!), I think it's a no-brainer choice for folks who are new to the self-help genre. Also, the concept of making small and manageable changes will win many readers over!

An little hidden gem! Really useful!
Any additional comments?
Fantastic book - I was a little dubious at the start, seeing as how cheap it is, but this is highly enjoyable and has helped me a heap with my procrastination problems. It was pretty short to listen to which was actually a positive thing as it didn’t contain the usual chaff and nonsense you find in these books.
Excellent and clear to see why it has so many great reviews!
Thanks 5/5

Make it happen!
Would you consider the audio edition of How to Stop Procrastination & Get More Done in Less Time! to be better than the print version?
Yes definitely! The narrator was able to encapsulate the feeling of doing. He really helped me get motivated to get my work done and be more free.
What other book might you compare How to Stop Procrastination & Get More Done in Less Time! to and why?
I would compare this to previous books I've read in the past like "Get it done!" and "The art of doing". Both had very similar concepts.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I had to listen to this multiple times and throughout the day. It's not something you can listen to in one setting because the author gives you specific tasks to accomplish throughout your day. Such tasks include making lists, sticking to your goals, making specific long term and short term goals, and etc. This is a book you want to consume slowly in order to make sure you are acting upon each step and really understanding each chapter.
Any additional comments?
This is a must read book. This was a great book because it helped me to get moving. Getting started is always a tough decision for me so this book was recommended by my friends. I am really thankful to them because it helped me break up my day into smaller, doable activities. I was not overwhelmed by the amount of tasks at hand.
This book especially helped me in my freelancing career and my regular career at work. By listening to the book and applying the principles and actionable steps I was able to get promoted and increase customer satisfaction in my freelancing career. The author shared real life advice so he was sympathetic and cared for the reader.
This book is fit for anybody who is a procrastinator. It will really provide assistance. I HIGHLY recommend this book. It will change your life! I already recommended this book to my friends and family. They can't stop talking about it!

Simply Life Changing Book!!!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This book has so much great advice, and it does not try to prescribe a single, magical cure for all procrastinators. I found the celebrity quotations inspiring and Jerry Seinfeld’s anti-procrastination technique to be particularly helpful. I definitely got the sense that years of research have been condensed into this book.
What did you like best about this story?
The book reveals the reasons we put off tasks fears of failure, success, control and attachment the authors outline a practical, tested program to overcome procrastination. This book is a must have today for anyone who puts everything off until tomorrow.

FANTASTIC! Simple and to the point
Any additional comments?
I loved this book because it was so short which means it got to the point very quickly. I haven't got the time (get it?!?!?) to listen to a 15 hour audiobook on this - i wanted something snappy, original and to the point and it is exactly what I got, for a very reasonable price. I am very happy with my purchase.

Useful, easy to follow, great solid advice
Any additional comments?
Solid advice for beating procrastination and increasing motivation and productivity in your life. I found this a lot easier to follow than most people in this field (many of which feel unrealistic or unrelated to my everyday life). I was relieved to find this book a bit different and just good solid advice that WORKS.

Got me started!
Any additional comments?
I have always had issues with getting stuff done - I am one of those people who always TALKED about doing stuff and complained about stuff I was not happy with (such as having too much clutter in my house) but never ever did anything practical to solve these issues. I was procrastinating. It took me a long time to really accept this and stop making excuses. This book really helped me with basic but very interesting steps to follow to basically get off my butt and do more, both in my personal life and in work life. It is a work in progress thing but I can really say this book helped a LOT and I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone and everyone!

I feel more motivated after reading this book and feel that I will be able to stop procrastinating and get my work done.
Great booK!

Any additional comments?
Very useful book, got to the point very quickly. It's like he was speaking directly to me! I have read a TON of books about my procrastination but this one was different because it gave me some REAL LIFE TIPS on how I can manage my life. It was like it was from MYYY point of view, not just some therapist telling me what to do and barking orders at me.
The narrator for this has a nice voice too. I like it when they have the smooth voices.

Incredibly inspiring
Any additional comments?
Such a great book! I'd been a chronic procrastinator in so many aspects of my life and this book has helped remedy so many of them. Graham Bianco delves deeply into all corners of people's procrastination and with each instance he identifies the causes and puts across really comprehensive solutions and methods to overcoming your problems. The book flows extremely well and is also laid out in nice digestible parts so while you can listen to it start to finish, you can also jump in and out of different parts on quick listens. Great for the car journey to work. 5 out of 5!

This is very informative and efficient book
Any additional comments?
The best trait most procrastinators have is high optimism. They are optimistic about their ability to delay a certain task and complete it later in a shorter amount of time. Their high hopes often keep them in this cycle of future procrastination. Procrastinators also have the ability to prioritize. They believe certain things are more urgent and demanding of their time, so they tend to give action to those things instead. In this new book you will be surprised to learn you can "eat your cake and have it too." It is possible to balance the negatives against the positives and still come out on top!

Helpful, useful and it works.
What did you like most about How to Stop Procrastination & Get More Done in Less Time!?
Loved it. I would listen to the book again and again. it helps to go over the strategies that helped me reduce the way I procrastinate. Secondly, I like the anecdotal style of the narration. Lastly, the length of the book is ideal for a quick read during down time.

Basic and repeats itself
Several of the same sentences were said back to back. No real tips in this e.g. having a drram amd plan for it....if you can stop procrastinating snd plan and do. Yeahhhhhhhhhh and....?????
