But, since we all get the same 24 hours, why is it that some people achieve so much more with their time than others? The answer lies in good time management.

Thinking outside the box means applying existing knowledge in new, unexpected ways to come up with new ideas and solutions. This is an essential skill in today’s fast-changing world. But saying “think outside the box” isn’t enough - you have to be aware of the box before you can think outside it. The scientific name for this imaginary box is “mental model”. Mental models are useful because they help you learn. They help you make sense of new information and attach it to your existing knowledge. But, at the same time, they can limit your thinking.

The guests range from super celebs (Jamie Foxx, Arnold Schwarzenegger, etc.) and athletes (icons of powerlifting, gymnastics, surfing, etc.) to legendary Special Operations commanders and black-market biochemists. Exciting listen!
I’m on an exciting adventure listening to this book. I required an audiobook precisely like this since I had no clue where to begin or even how to start unraveling my inner tangled way of thinking. I can't state how grateful I am to express my profound and heartfelt appreciation to this essayist. The audiobook gives a definite, yet open, portrayal of the mental components required in settling on choices and why critical thinking is appropriate on every choice.

Effective learning
This book has an approach that gives a free permission to "thinking outside the box" since this is often where truth and insight are to be found. How to find the truth? What is the truth? The book gives specific guidance to these questions presenting the Socratic questioning, for example, thinking in analogies, learning critical writing and listening, learning how to extract and summarize information effectively etc.

Great steps to practice critical thinking
I can definitely see the benefit of using critical thinking in many aspects of life. Though I manually have been doing this for many things already, it will be very valuable to intentionally practice critical thinking with the helpful ideas from this audiobook.
