Great for single family investors

I thought this book included Multi family. It does not. So I did not enjoy this book. But it is great information if you are interested in the SF fix and flip.

This is the real deal. It is NOT a seminar pitch.

This book is so full of useful “how to” information that I am going to purchase a hard copy and use it as my go to reference for setting up and running my business.
Forget the $50k guru seminar. This is much more valuable.
Well done and thanks Anson!

A Must-Read Intro for Anyone Just Starting Out

The title should be "everything you need to know to start investing in real estate". It reads more like a Real Estate for Dummies, explaining terms, basic calculations, resources, and strategies. A fantastic primer for the new investor.

I listened to the audio book twice while driving, but kept wanting to stop and take notes.

Where Kiyosaki gives you the mental shift to want to invest in real estate, Anson Young walks you through how to actually DO IT.

best real estate investing book I've ever read!

what I really like about this book is it's not like the typical real estate investing book that's all based on hype and motivation. I've got motivation I've got Ambitions I don't need any help with that. I like how this book is specific with its methods and systems. this book has given me a bunch of ideas and giving me specifics on what to do next and how to incorporate these tools into my Arsenal that I've been building. Anson Young, excellent job and thanks for pouring your heart and soul into this book I got so much out of it and I really appreciate it.

Best REI book i've ever read

If you could sum up Finding and Funding Great Deals in three words, what would they be?

Best REI book

What did you like best about this story?

Anson covers every aspect of REI, but he devotes most of the book to finding the deal. Funding the deal takes up the second largest sections. But he gets pretty in depth with it. Like gives out list source search parameter strategies (first time I've ever seen that). He illustrates the dozens of way to find good rei deals. From REO properties, foreclosures, estate sales, tax sales, divorces, junk properties, d4d, etc. I've read all kinds of rei books but this one is the best.

What does Anson Young bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

It means the most to him because he wrote the book. He isn't perfect, couple mishaps, but no biggie.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes

Fills in the gaps

This book is good for getting a 30ft view with a high res camera of real estate investing. It's not exhaustive in it's coverage of REI, but it is a book to listen to repeatedly as it effectively covers many topics. I think it provides a comfortable yet challenging approach to REI that is detailed but not over-burdensome because of the use of appropriate stories and emphasis. It's read by the author, so the points of emphasis in the book pretty much match the emphasis in the narrator's speaking voice, which aids in understanding the points being explained. I have many unabridged audiobooks on REI that are all valuable for their content, but this book is the one I listen to when I want to pull it all together.

Best yet!!!

I was paying $450 per hr on mentoring, $11000 prepaid, to a guy that says that he is the only one that teaches creative real estate, this book highlighted everything and more in depth of everything this mentor claims only he knows. for less than $20 and 3 weeks of listening while going to work and I got more information that I can actually use that 5 months with this so call mentor. totally recomend to every person serious in investing in real estate.
