Story
Are you interested in real estate investing but there is nothing to buy that makes sense where you live? Are you tired of seeing the amazing success of others investing in markets better suited for buy and hold real estate and wish that could be you? Do you want to take advantage of wealth building opportunities but are frustrated by the fact there just isn't any way to do that until the next market crash? Real estate investing is one of the greatest vehicles to build wealth, but it doesn't make sense in every market. Some locations provide incredible returns, while others make it almost impossible to find a single property that profits. Traditionally, investing out of state has been considered risky and unwise.

Story
Many Americans dream of financial freedom, but they're stuck in dead-end jobs and don't know how to get there. You don't need to be one of them. If you invested $35,000 in the stock market today, it could take 52 years for that investment to grow to $1 million. But if you invested that same amount into one single-family $140,000 rental property, it would only take 19 years. With just two rental properties, you could generate $417,000 in profit in just 10 years. Skeptical?

As a researcher...
As a researcher, I.E. a new investor, this book is invaluable to me. There is a lot of information put out on nine different techniques used in the real estate world to obtain funding for your current or future projects. Most of it is legal ways to go about obtaining funding. A lot of the book speaks volumes about your character and how you loving real estate investing can really play into getting a deal in one stage or another.
Brandon specifically speaks about how he obtained his 12 unit apartment through the virtue of his conversation with another investor He again talks about it later, but without specifically saying so. I believe Brandon happened upon an investor who was having a hard time making money with his commercial real estate and found Brandon may be able to work it, So he sold Brandon the building after a few years of Brandon working it. I believe it was through leasing. So it covered the legal how and the why it happened that way, Brandons character.
The book is a great book to give you ideas on how to work different avenues of funding. A lot of it is networking. Get the book if you are struggling with funding or if you are new to help build a foundation or get new ideas.
It's good to add more tools to your tool box.

Buy the print version
I'm not one to normally write reviews but the narrator was so terrible I felt I had to. The information is great, love all the BP stuff. But the narrator slips in and out of vocal fry (imagine what you sound like when you first wake up and try to speak). There are periods where he speaks normally, but the majority of the book sounds like a frog man sloppily reading the book to you. Do your ears a favor, read the print version.

Great info for creative real estate Poor execution
Tons of great stuff. I learned a lot. But it was incredibly annoying, that the reader sounded like he was on 6 redbulls. He never once slowed down or paused. Also the recording kept skipping back 5-25 seconds. It did it at least 8 times. But great book!

Brutal Narration
Where does The Book on Investing In Real Estate with No (and Low) Money Down rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
So far, the book ranks in the top 5. The downside to this would be the narration - very hard to understand, very awkward at times. There are also quite a few recording errors towards the end of the book.
What did you like best about this story?
I love the scope of the book. Brandon provides a wide variety of strategies to take on, then breaks them down into a more simplistic way of understanding them.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Maher Abiad?
Myself, Gerard Butler, Anthony Hopkins, Captain Jean Luc Picard...really anybody.

Narrator in distress
The subject and content of the book is of true and great value to any real estate investor, be it novice or seasoned. However the narrator is very variable in his voice, reading speed and quality i.e. he repeats himself several times throughout the book which might indicate bad editing.
All in all, a good book but maybe best read by one self.
