Loved it

I absolutely loved Wolf Moon. This book is a very fast paced book with danger, romance and quite a few twist thrown in. Now I want to read the books before this one in the series.

Undercover

When Luke takes a break from his pack for a job in another area he doesn't expect to find his mate and the atrocious conditions she lives in. In order to help Raven he must be a willing member of her pack and pretend to go against his pack. As danger ensues their love is the thing that pulls them through. The narrators do a wonderful job.I received a complimentary audio and I am voluntarily reviewing.

Excellent Series!

I love Lisa Kessler's writing! I enjoyed Wolf Moon, and I'm enjoying looking at that cover! I enjoyed the listening experiencing. I preferred the female narrator the best, but both did a great job. I'd recommend listening to the whole series since it's on the Audible Romance Package.

This is part of a series, but it could be read as a standalone, but there are some cameos from characters from the previous books, so you may want to check out those books first, but I don't think it is absolutely necessary. In Wolf Moon, Raven was bitten against her will and turned into a werewolf, and is in a wolf pack that is into some nefarious things and the Alpha makes women mate against their will, so Raven decides to escape and ask another wolf pack for help, but along the way she runs into Luke, who is part of the very pack she was on her way to see. After hearing all the terrible things that are going on in Raven's wolf pack, Luke agrees to help Raven out, and all the others who are trapped by the controlling Alpha. Luke and Raven come up with a plan to bring Raven's Alpha down, and along the way the two begin to grow closer, but it's difficult for their relationship to grow within the situation they find themselves in. Raven's Alpha is having humans bitten against his/her will and turned into werewolves, so he can create a bigger pack to take out other wolf packs, and is forcing women to mate with multiple males, so they will get pregnant, and on top of that, if someone in the pack doesn't do what he says, he kills them. Raven is in a really bad situation, but I love that she stands up for herself, and does what she can to help all those trapped under the Alpha's iron fist. I thought it was really cool that Luke is a horse trainer, I almost want to say I found Luke to be a bit tame, but that makes him sound bad, and he wasn't, he is a strong guy, who puts himself on the line for others, which I found admirable; he's a really good guy, and he's a romantic, which is adorable. Luke and Raven have some really tough things to get through, and they both show extreme strength in some really intense situations. I liked the romance between Luke and Raven, and they do have some hot and sweet moments, but I do feel like I would've liked a bit more depth to their romance; it's good, but I felt like I wanted more intense emotion between the two. They are sexually passionate, but I wanted them to be emotionally passionate as well, but even with those little gripes, I still found the romance sweet and lovely. Good, solid entertaining read! Looking forward to the next!

Line wolf no more.

Well written with likeable characters. Plenty of action, romance, understanding, loyalty and commitment. This book brings another piece of the puzzle about the NERO Organization but still leaves a little mystery that makes you want to read\listen to more. Well it on to the next book in the series and can't wait.

The narration was spot-on

The narration was spot-on as usual with this series!
Luke was the last single wolf in the pack. So he volunteered to go to Sedona to find out what it had to do with Nero. He discovered Raven stranded one night.
Raven was part of a pack after she was bitten. The pack she was in sent wolves out to bite humans on full moon night in order to grow their numbers. The alpha was Malcolm's old alpha, the one who sent wolves to be part of project Moonlight. Raven was running away to get help from the Reno pack.
Now Luke and Raven are working together to kill the alpha and free the bitten wolves who were be held captive.
In my opinion, this one wasn't as good as the others. Some parts of the story questioned things that was already answered. But it is still very worth the read. It introduced a bunch of new people also.
