In book 3 of the Sutter Lake series, Forrest Officer, Tracker, and womanizer, Tuck, discovers romantic feelings for his best friend’s little sister he has known all his life. Never believing he was good enough for “Little J” due to his father’s lifestyle and verbal abuse, he stays in the friend zone with Jensen. Until he can’t any longer.

This is another beautifully written and narrated story, a friends to lovers, single mother, with suspense included as in the other Sutter Lake Series books. Tuck not thinking himself worthy after his father’s years of verbal assaults in spite of all the good he does every day, including being a great role model to little Noah, is heartbreaking. Jensen not thinking she could ever trust her emotions after two disastrous relationships, working herself to death to hide her loneliness, is emotionally heart wrenching. They are exactly what the other needs. They just need to recognize that.

It all makes for an absolute must listen.

Small Town Romantic Suspense Gold!

Catherine Cowles is among the best authors of contemporary romantic suspense. Each of these books is well worth the credit,,,to get three for one is an amazing deal. Stellar narration!

LOVED THESE BOOKS!

I enjoyed all three stories. There were a few instances in which I wanted to slap some sense into the main characters, but that is to be expected. They do come to their senses eventually. The narrators did a great job.

I am a pretty new reader/listener to Catherine Cowles - thanks to my bookclub picking Beautifully Broken Pieces last month. I just could not stop at book one though. Seriously, this series has been amazing and I have enjoyed all 3 listens. Great small-town charm, wonderful characters, a little mystery/suspense/kidnappings, and beautifully written stories. I can't wait to read more of her series soon, I have already started book 4 of this series! This author has joined my one-click list and is one I will highly recommend to others. Maxine Mitchell and Aaron Shedlock are amazing narrators and they did such a great job bringing the characters to life and making me feel the emotions of the stories. I felt like I was there in Sutter Lake.

This collection was simply amazing. Catherine Cowles really knows how to deliver amazing stories that keeps readers glued to the story. If you like romance with a dash of suspense then go no farther and listen to this collection.

Sutter Lake is Flawless

These first 3 books of the Sutter Lake series are written and performed to perfection.

I listened to this whole thing in a few day because I didn't want to listen to anything else.

Catherine swept me away. I cried. She writes romantic suspense with a whole lot of heart and a touch of spice perfectly.

She is my new favorite!

Twist and Turns

Book was easy to listen too. The narrator’s were the best. So hard when they are from different countries England, Ireland. So nice to hear clear voices. Story lines in each book were almost the same but enjoyable. They all took a turn and twist. I liked it. I recommend this box set.
