Get to the point!

I'm well into the second book in this trilogy and am exhausted with all the military, shoot-'em-up action. I thought this was going to be much more thoughtful or at least much more centered on a virus plot line. I'm returning it.

Superb!

My first audio book and it was awesome! Thank you to Steven Konkoly for an phenomenal story, and to Charles Hubbell for top notch narration. I wish the story was longer! Thanks again, I'll be looking forward to more work from both of you!

Loved It.

Very likeable characters with a great story which kept me interested and really enjoying the ride.

Good Book

Didn’t review it at the time I read it went back later to do it. Was a good book.

Books 2 and 3 are a real letdown

I really enjoyed Book 1. The plot related to various characters surviving a town falling apart due to a bio weapon attack, and the people who are trying to do the right thing was fascinating.

Then, books 2 and 3 showed up; and most of your favorite characters either disappear or have nothing to do. The story becomes one military engagement after another with little pacing. Also, you know how the first book slowly revealed information into the attack itself? That basically stops altogether after book one. What an unsatisfying trilogy.

Just read book one.

Awesome series of books!!!

Awesome series of books. Not predictable for the most part. Rarely has 20 plus hours passed this fast for me.

Great for War Buffs

if you love tactical books about guns, fighting, wars, and that sort of thing then you'll love this. there isn't a lot of heavy character development or details other than the type of guns, the type of bullets, and the vehicles used in this storyline. it was okay but I'd prefer something a little less about the details of items used in a war and more about the storyline and characters in a book.

More military than virus

I was hoping for more virus action, but it was thoroughly enjoyable regardless. I'm from Indiana and it was so right on for the backdrop. The narrator is brilliant and very easy to listen to. My only real disappointment was the break from the character development beyond the first book. Without continuing care of the characters, it's hard to feel the horror or rage without connection. As the story grew, so did the cast. Not unnecessarily, but I did miss the motivations and the little personal connections. I will however be reading more from Mr Konkoly.

the narrator is incredible!!!!! one guys doing 35+ voices. A+++++ ALL AROUND!!! THEY NEED TO TURN THIS INTO A SHOW OR MOVIE!!!
