Great way to get the entire series

I really enjoyed the unique take on the EMP genre and four books for the price of one is a great deal. If you enjoy Smith's other books you will more than likely really enjoy these. He tells a story that can really happen, in a way how it would happen.

A gripping tale of what could happen.

This is one of the best EMP stories I have ever listened to. No spoilers. The character portrayals by the narrator, the intense storyline by the author give this book a realisim that will make you think long after you finish this book.

loved this series. the narrator was brilliant and the characters were something else. very good books and quite realistic

Hideous narrator

Great story that was ruined by the idiotic accents and over-the-top emphasis by the narrator. He made many of the characters sound like stupid hicks. Narration was less annoying in books 2-4, but I hope to never again listen to Bronson Pinchot again.

Great series

This story is fantastic, I found myself really engaging with even minor characters through the story. I struggled to keep going through at some points not because of the quality of the book but because of the tension built through the storytelling. Fantastic story and great writing, doesn't lean on tropes and cliches like a lot of others in this genre.
