Enjoyed it

Not the best
Too much about fighting and not enough about the relationships . I Was glad when it ended. I loved the characters. Could do without so much violence.

I cared about the characters
Stone does an excellent job of combining a realistic apocalypse scenario with interesting characters you care about. She found a new twist on a flooded genre. She combined a crime that needed to be solved during an apocalypse. I really enjoyed the depth that added to the books. I highly recommend all four books.

Get this series
The development of each cast member was fun to watch unfold. It’s worth the read. I have over 200 titles in my library and this one stands out as one of the best.
I hope there is a book 5 and the series continues.

Excellent ending to the series 
I thoroughly enjoyed this violent and exciting end to the series. Kyla Stone made it engaging world, with interesting and relatable characters.  a bit more profanity in this one, but also a bit more intensity.
