The story is entertaining as well as informative for these current days

Seems like it ends all too soon ! And need to move to the next book in the series!

I love this author's books.I always look for them where I'm searching for a new book.And now I will go on and read the number two book in the series

American Collapse

Book 1 - This is a well written book. It sets up our group of protagonists as America society starts to collapse. The characters are well written and have interesting backgrounds. The antagonists are also developed and everything is in place going into the 2nd book.

For this genre of books I recommend this as a read.

Very Realistic

A realistic and relevant story to our times. Narrator did well. I immediately downloaded the second book in the series.

Always Left Wanting More

I’ll admit, I’ve been a fan of Bobby Akart since his very first series. Since, I’ve devoured everything he has written, interacted with his social media posts and even made personal connections with him and his wife…though only through brief electronic communications. This book by far is the closest to reality that I have read of his thus far. I am left wanting to dive deeper into the series, though with trepidation. This hits so close to home and is so on point with current events it leaves me with no doubt that not of but when will we face the truth unfolding in front of us. It is not delivered with your typical over the top ignorance you find after spending too much time and valuable money on other books in this genre. Instead you know what you’ve been given is a roadmap. Do you follow it or do you chalk it up to fantasy. That’s up to you. But for me in my house, we trust Bobby’s insights implicitly and take heed when he, through the magic he wields through the written word by delivering stories that align with everyday happenings, the message he delivers…be prepared!

Love the story and characters. Detailed, thoughtful and full of thought provoking scenarios. I recommend this book to anyone

I like the background start, the development of the characters. It didn't just slam right into the crash.

Behind the Gates one

Im enjoying the series. As alway Bobby sets up his main characters in the first book which is so helpful in the next book. I am struggling with the narrator Andrew W. It may just be me but it sounds like all the characters have had a couple “drinks”. There are times when they have been drinking but it sounds like they barely sober up. It’s distracting to me as I’m listening. I think my favorite narrator Bobby has used was Kevin Pierce. Fingers crossed as I move through the series I become use to it.

Best first book yet.

I have listened to just about every book bobby a kart has put out. I can tell right now. This is gonna be a great series.
