This Story Is Sexy

Publisher's Summary

Eden

I’m just a simple girl who likes dessert. And sexy men. And social media. So starting an anonymous video channel called the Sexpert as a side hustle to make up for my low-paying marketing job at Le Man Magazine seemed like a perfectly sensible career decision. Until we went viral, my boss accused my anonymous personality of stealing his idea, and now my super-sexy new boyfriend, Andrew, is out to get me.

Her. Me. Whatever.

Andrew

I don’t want it to be her. I do not want this…sweet, delicious, shy social media nerd working at my best friend’s magazine to be the face behind those perky cupcakes on the Sexpert channel. I don’t want it to be her…because I like her. A lot. She’s funny, and quirky, and smart, and creative…and…I really, really like her. It just can’t be her.

But it is. And now I have to choose. My best friend? Or...The Sexpert?

That Voice...

Something about the way Huss and McClain write makes the characters come to life in the most intimate way. The inner dialogue of each character is an open window that allows some kind of refreshing breeze of a deeper connection between the reader and the story. It’s hard to find in romance and from what I have experienced, there’s a small handful of authors that seem to have mastered this. An underpriced and unrecognized talent for sure. Hours and hours of escape found in a fun little romance book you can grab for less than a price of the coffee you drink while reading it.
If this Narration doesn’t get nominated for an Audie Award by “Tad Branson” aka Johnathan McClain, I would be shocked and disappointed. He projected every word and emotion masterfully. Awesome book.

another hit!

If there ever was another writing team like Julie and Jonathan, I certainly never heard of them. These two authors have it all together! You can tell they actually have fun while doing their parts. This book had so many moments where I was grinning, smiling, even letting out a bark of laughter that had nearby people glancing over at me...and, of course, I just smiled! Great story, fabulous characters, and wonderful narrators! Can't wait for the next!

LOVED ❤️

Another wonderful book from JA Huss and Johnathan. I haven’t laughed out loud this much with a book in a very long time. Thank you two for writing characters that are real and that have you so immersed in their lives that you know if Eden was a real person, you would be friends 😀. Read, enjoy and let yourself become friends with the inhabitants of the TDH !!!

Perfect! 10 stars!

This is what I always want a romance novel to be. Funny. Hilarious, natural-feeling dialogue. Love the characters. Great story. Conflict that doesn’t feel forced. Perfect narration by a professional actor. Passionate. Loved it.

Bravo.

Great performance, so-so story

I almost didn't finish this book. The female protagonist was dreadfully annoying and the main conflict of "whose the Sexpert" dragged on way longer than it should have. However I made it to the end because of Tad Branson's brilliant performance. Moreover, the side characters were pretty entertaining and I'm happy that they are the mains for the next book in the series.

The dynamic duo do it again!

What a fun story. I laughed, I loved, I throughly enjoyed this book. As fun as it was, it also has a lot of heart. Tad Branson is such a compelling narrator. He makes you feel like you are right next to him and he's telling this story directly to you. He could read the phone book to me and I would be completely entertained. I wholeheartedly recommend this book.

I don’t get it

Honestly I don’t know why Huss has McClain writing books with her. I finish the Jordans games Series which where awesome I give them 5 star. I was a little disappointed in this book. This the first book I have ever listen to that’s huss n McClain which really I only listen too because Huss highly recommended it at the end Jordan’s game. The details in sex was poor to me, I have never felt that way with Huss books before. Huss I can’t wait for your next great Adventure.
