The heroine: Elicea - a waitress who is not afraid to stand up for herself. Sometimes to her own detriment. When she fights back against a handsy customer she immediately quits her job rather than get fired.

The Hero(s): Creed - he and his friends own the Crimson Elite. An ultra exclusive sex club where rich and famous come to play. They take privacy and secrecy very seriously and Creed is the one that doles out the punishments for anyone that breaks the non-disclosure agreement they sign when they become a member or come to work at the club.

The Story: Creed and his friend are at the restaurant and see Elicia fight for herself and walk out. Creed follows her out and offers her a job as bartender at his club. Elicia agrees and feels a pull toward Creed like she never felt before.

The love story between Creed and Elicia goes through a lot of ups and downs. Creed is of the mind that he is damaged and incapable of love because he enjoys his job. Though he loves his mother, he has never been in a relationship and doesn’t want one. Though he does want Elicea.

I liked the supporting characters in this book. The other guys who own the Crimson Elite with Creed were great and all have strong personalities. I plan to read on in this series to get their stories as well. This wasn’t your standard sex club (BDSM) type book. Despite the fact that many of the scenes take place in the club, this wasn’t a BDSM or sex club book. It was just the place they worked and the guys make a ton of money on the club so go to mafia-like extremes to safeguard their business.

The narration was done by Teddy Hamilton and Mackenzie Cartwright and they did a terrific job. I like the alpha male, gravely voice of Teddy Hamilton and Mackenzie sounded age appropriate for Elicia. I enjoyed listening to this one and can’t wait to listen to the rest of the series.

not to bad, but not great either

First, I love any narration by Teddy Hamilton. But the story itself, tough. I kept thinking..."really? stop being a big baby" on her behalf. Silent treatment is something I despise, and that was her MO.
I just listened all the way thru to get thru it and say I did it lol

I wasn't in love with the characters, she's stupid and he's a D. Teddy's voice saves the male character. His deep voice is perfect!

Throughly Enjoyed This Story

This was my first T.L. Smith book but it won’t be my last! I enjoyed the overall story as well as the main characters and side characters. I’m excited to see what comes next for these men. I really enjoyed the narrators and thought they did a good job bringing these characters to life. I would highly recommend this audiobook

Creed and Elicia

Love morally gray heroes? You’ll love this series. Creed is adorable, he’s so socially awkward. There is a sexual tension and a connection so intense, how can they ignore it. Will creed let the best thing to happen to him get away because of fear? Or will he find his own twist of a happily ever after?

Good storyline, although predictable

The tension build up was good, the storyline altogether was good. Is a bit predictable but that didn’t ruin it for me. I loved all of the characters. I look forward to the next book in the series.

mafia like

well I was hoping it would be heavier on the sex club aspect, but maybe in the future books ...

Alicia is a strong character and Creed is broody. I love how Echo and Falcon ride him so I'm looking forward to their stories.

Teddy Hamilton’s reading 🥰 can’t ever go wrong with anything he reads

Cute story a bit too short for my liking, but as always AMAZING narrative by the one and only Teddy Hamilton which made the book better
