Publisher's Summary

There are a lot of personality tests out there designed to label you and put you in a particular box. But Dr. Caroline Leaf says there's much more to you than a personality profile can capture. In fact, you cannot be categorized!

In this fascinating book, she takes listeners through seven steps to rediscover and unlock their unique "you quotient" - the brilliantly original way each person thinks, feels, relates, and makes choices - freeing them from comparison, envy, and jealousy, which destroy brain tissue. Listeners learn to be aware of what's going on in their own minds and bodies, to lean in to their own experience rather than trying to forcefully change it, and to redefine what success means to them. Released from the suffocating box of expectations, they'll embrace their true identity and develop a clear sense of divine purpose in their lives.

Knowing and understanding our identity empowers our choices. Unlocking one's you quotient is not optional - it is essential.

    "Pure garbage"

Maybe the worst book I've ever read. It was a torture to try to get to the end. So I gave up. A book by a doctor can not base its premises on the existence or goodness of God. This failure makes the book a pile of fallacies. If you seek science and not religion, pass far. do not waste your time.

"This is not a self-help book. Religious self-help"

I was looking for a book about being the best me I can be. Big mistake spending this money. This is not a scientific book but a Christsentric self-help book. There is a New Testament citation at the end of every other pragraph or so like John 6:13. I should have looked deeper than the title. The only thing I'm more upset about than the lost money is the cloying, overly happy, girlish without a cause performance. Of course if Christ made you perfect is what you need to hear your milage and happy joy joy Christianity may very.

"I was not looking for a religious book."
Would you try another book from Dr. Caroline Leaf and/or Margaret Winston?

This seemed to be a motivational book I could enjoy while commuting. I am an atheist and was not looking to listen to a book about God.

Has The Perfect You turned you off from other books in this genre?

    Absolutely.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

    No.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Irritation. I was looking forward to hearing something motivational.
