Publisher's Summary

For anyone who loved Susan Cain’s Quiet, comes this practical manifesto sharing the joys of introversion.…

This clever and pithy audiobook challenges introverts to take ownership of their personalities...with quiet strength. Sophia Dembling asserts that the introvert’s lifestyle is not "wrong" or lacking, as society or extroverts would have us believe. Through a combination of personal insights and psychology, The Introvert’s Way helps and encourages introverts to embrace their nature, to respect traits they may have been ashamed of and reframe them as assets.

You’re not shy; rather, you appreciate the joys of quiet. You’re not antisocial; instead, you enjoy recharging through time alone. You’re not unfriendly, but you do find more meaning in one-on-one connections than large gatherings.

By honoring what makes them unique, this astute and inspiring audiobook challenges introverts to "own" their introversion, igniting a quiet revolution that will change how they see themselves and how they engage with the world.

Critic Reviews

“In this thought-provoking treatise on the quieter types, Dembling, the blogger behind Psychology Today’s 'The Introvert’s Corner', proposes a wholesale rethinking of what it means to be an introvert…. Dembling’s account is refreshingly candid and straightforward - 'I am an introvert,' she writes, 'And there’s not a damn thing wrong with me.'" (Publishers Weekly)

Common Sense Fluff

I was totally unimpressed with this book. I found the book to be filled with fluff. If you want to read a real book about introverts, purchase the book quiet. The book Quoet has a lot more substance to it relative to those folks who are introverts vs other behavioral styles. The narrator sounds like she's about 18 years old and I found it hard to digest taking advice from her.

Spot on and well balanced

The balance between our right to protect ourselves from energy-robbing demands on how we live day-to-day and our responsibility to extend the same privelege to the equally legitimate needs of more extroverted folks is a refreshing challenge that should keep us from withdrawing into our own self-righteous shells.

At Last!

It's nice to come across a book like this that spoke the language of Introverts. It was like listening to my life story. I am not alone in my introvert ways. Awesome book for those may have introverts in their lives and would like to better understand them.
