Publisher's Summary

Best-selling author Shaunti Feldhahn helps listeners transform any relationship by making three small changes! In a new approach for Shaunti, this book is a cross between a major research study, a self-help book, and a daily step-by-step habit-building plan. It shows listeners how to apply the surprising relationship insights revealed in her earlier million-copy best sellers, why certain actions matter so much, and a specific 30-day plan on what to do to build a very simple habit that will change any relationship for the better. By modifying mind-sets through changing habits, The Kindness Challenge transforms hurting relationships into healthy ones and good relationships into great ones.

Challenge Accepted!

I purchased this book thinking I was just looking to enjoy a good read and maybe encouraged here and there. Boy was I in for a surprise. I really had to take a look at the attitude I had allowed into my life and decide to go back to having a heart of gratitude and kindness. I am so thankful for such a patient husband! I am excited to rock this challenge.

This is a delightful book to listen to. It is easy to understand and absorb. I highly recommend having a notebook near by. She has great tips and ideas! Join me - take the challenge!

Transformational

Would you listen to The Kindness Challenge again? Why?

I have listened to this multiple times and read the book twice. I recommended this to several others and gifted the book to a newlywed friend. The principles Shaunti shares are life changing. The stories she tells are convincing and convicting. Please read and apply these principles to change your marriage, family, work relations and just enjoy life more.

Just what I needed

This book showed up at the perfect time. my boyfriend and I hit a big low point in our relationship and we both agreed something needed to change or else we should break up. He worked on establishing a different routine and I read this book. I'm only a few days into the challenge but I've already noticed him doing more around the house. I don't even feel like I've done that much aside from fixing dinner and trying to watch what I say. On day 3 I said i just needed to clean the litter boxes before going to bed. Before I could even get up he got up and started cleaning them, which he rarely does. I praised him greatly and it just made me feel like we really could save this relationship. I've read similar books with similar ideas but this book put it simply enough it made it easier to actually change my behavior. If anything can save our relationship it will be this.

A couple heads up....

I debated on purchasing this one because I questioned how tolerable the narrators voice would be. I'm glad I got it because the content is great, I love the stories of those who have shifted their outlook & output, and look forward to enacting that in my own life. I will say that personally, the voice is rough....Trying to keep my criticism down, but it's way too perky for me. Also, be aware that there is a lot of God, Jesus, and bible referencing. Hopefully it can be taken with a grain of salt if you're not Christian, and the bigger message comes through, but may be good to know ahead of time.

Seems simple but there is more to it

Good audiobook for my commute. Subject of kindness seems so simple but there is kindness we must unleash on ourselves too.

Inspiring and simple

I was pleasantly surprised by how just listening to this book while I drove inspired me to be kinder to those around me. It was a nice reminder and provided a positive boost to my day. I've considered listening to it again just to keep the goodness flowing.

Another great one by Shaunti!

Shaunti Feldhahn’s books are always great! I really enjoyed this book on kindness! The 3 steps are straightforward and it’s eye opening how you may think you’re being kind, but falling short. I definitely would recommend this book!

Great book

This was an awesome book, however I felt like I have already read it before . Perhaps because I felt as if I was going over the 5 love languages book .
Great tips, I will apply it more often
