Publisher's Summary

Between being hunted by vampires and her inability to control her siren's powers, all Adelle Constance wants is to be left alone. She runs from her home, hoping to lay low in the small Washington town of Whitmore. She didn't count on meeting Jack, a cranky 900-year-old dragon who, despite her protests, vows to protect her. She also didn't count on him being so deliciously attractive in that grumbling way.

Jack has no desire for a mate, especially after being dumped by the love of his life. Yet somehow, he's suckered into protecting a beautiful siren who can make things explode just by raising her voice. Reluctantly, he takes the alluring Adelle under his wing, finding her quirky charms irresistible. And when angry vampires come to take her back, the dragon finds he's not giving her up without a fight.

One way or another, things will be ending with a boom.

Book one in the Wyrd Love series.

Fun and Entertaining

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would absolutely recommend this book to a friend. It was a great story line and the characters are well developed and likeable. Also, the narration is one of the best I have heard in a long time. The various voices make the story come to life.

Fantasy and romance and steam, oh my!

What did you love best about Siren's Song?

The charming, compelling characters were my favorite thing about Siren's Song.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character was Jack! Funny, interesting, and ohh, that accent!

What about Michael Ferraiuolo’s performance did you like?

The narrator did GREAT voices for every character! Many male narrators can't pull off a feminine voice, but Michael Ferraiuolo pulled it off with flair.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Yeah, my boyfriend is a dragon.

Any additional comments?

I highly recommend this book! The characters got my attention, and the plot really gripped me.

Diving back into the Wyrd

I read this book years ago when it was first released, and I have read the other books in this series as well. It was nice to see that there were clues to future books already woven into the first story that I had long forgotten about. Listening to it has made me want to go back and read the other three books! It's a lovely introduction to the Wyrd and I fell in love with Jack all over again.

Michael did a fantastic job of brining the Wyrd characters to life. Jack was perfectly broody and Scottish while Anthony had that perfect refined disdain in his voice that never quite made it in my head when I read him on the page. I hope the author is able to convince Michael to do the other books as well, because I'm curious to see what he can do with the other characters.
