This was excelent! Great story and charachters. Narrarator did a great job with the voices. Listening to book 2 now. 😀

ANOTHER AWESOME DRAGON'S TALE!!!

LOVED the DRAGON BLOOD series so wanted more. I wondered how DEATH BEFORE DRAGONS set in modern Earth's time would work against the previous story sdt on a more arcane plain ... I was hooked after first chapter and am starting next book NOW!

Took a long time to understand the storyline ....

... but in will to try the next in the series to see if the story picks up and gets better.

I finished this book sooo fast! I couldn't stop listening! Just bought the second book and looking forward to this entire series.

Where is the next installment of this series?

Based on a recommendation by a friend I read this book. I have read other Lindsay Buroker books, but this was held my attention and I found myself easily slipping into the story of Val a Half Elf. She is a bounty hunter of sorts woking for the US government hunting magical beings with an assortment of magical weapons, which includes a magical tiger.

The voice of the narrator, Vivienne Lehen, was a perfect match for the book in terms of the main character Val, the male characters, and the magical beings including the tiger. I found myself losing the sense of time passing because I was so engrossed by the story and carried along by the narration.

There are a great deal of magical characters, none more facilitating than an other worldly male dragon.

My quetion is: When will the next book be available?

A Thrill Ride!

I couldn't stop listening! The whole book was enveloping! I am getting book two now!

Doesn't concentrate on war and battle

It's a light fantasy in that there is no major war or battle, therefore I like the overall feel a lot better than most. And it's good, positive, suspenseful (i.e., not a pablum – everybody likes everybody and there is no tension…), and a reasonable addition to the fantasy genre. I really did enjoy it

This is the series that opened up Lindsay Buroker foe me. I have listened to the entire series three times now.

Loved the first three books, looking forward to the 4th.

This series is fas inating, the characters are fascinating and the premise is new. I am very excited to read the next book. The writer is trying all the books together very neatly. The police actions are realistic and accurate. The fa t that the writer touches on PTSD so accurately kinda implies that they are very familiar with PTSD but also the action of the soldier heroes of that and the present conflict. I hope a yone reading these books will enjoy it as much as I have.
