strong funny characters

I'm so glad I found this gem! I really enjoyed the world created and strong female heroines. Love aspect was great, not overly sexed but tastefully written.

It gets better..

This was a slog to get through, though that was probably more due to my own issues. I didn’t initially like the FMC but she grew on me, although I did roll my eyes at her A LOT! Ended up liking the MMC immediately. Whole thing was alright, if I had read this when I was 14/15/16 I would have devoured it. As an adult, I wanted more spice and less fade to black. Overall, generally good story and a happy ending.

I love this series so much and Olivia brings it to life so beautifully! And Dimitri in the bonus chapters...just wow!

They both have a lovely pace (a lot of audiobooks are paced a little slower than I prefer, but this was just perfect) and did a lovely job with their accents and having just the right amount of emotion.

Damn good

This series and the one that follows are two of my absolute favorites for story and character development. Olivia King did such a convincing performance and I LOVED hearing her tell them.
Absolutely a must for listening!

Unexpected

I enjoyed these books (1-3) much more than I'd expected. The narrator was very easy to listen to; her voicing of the individual characters was done very well. The summary of the story is done for you by the publisher, so I don't need to rehash that. I'll just say it's a story of a princess, raised to marry a prince to ally two kingdoms. Her fiance disappears on their wedding day, and she sets herself on a path to find him. That path leads to her growth, maturity, and the realization that she doesn't love that prince after all.

Great Series!!! Just get it, you will not regret it.

Keeps you engaged all the way through. There aren’t any dull moments. Things keep getting revealed and you just can’t wait to find out more.

Great story!

I truly enjoyed Robin as narrator. I will say very loudly that when the male narrates at the end he's so breathy and over acted it was hard to understand anything he said. sad really. The story was sweet and romantic without the sleeze most books have. A strong heroin and a super hero. The best kind of story to get lost in.

THE NARRATORS DID A FANTASTIC JOB.
AND THE TEASER AT THE END WITH CHARLIE AND LOGANS DAUGHTER, BONNIE MAKES YOU WANT A STORY OF HER OWN TO BE TOLD. EVERYONE IS NOT WHAT THEY SEEM, BUT ALL IS REVEALED IN THE END.
I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS FOR SOMEONE AT 16 AND UP. THERE ARE SOME GRAPHIC PARTS IN THE LAST BOOK, OF WAR AND CALUSUALITES.

I laughed, I loved, I was livid, I cried and might have peed after laughing some more...... on to the next set of books in the Laughlanunivers series these two fabulous authors have written and I think I'm going to try to look online and see if I can find me a boobIe dagger of my own

Wholesome story

This was a wholesome and enjoyable story. Having already listened to Lochlann Feuds, I believe this was the next in the reading order. I did search for a family tree or map to help understand the connections better, but unfortunately, I couldn't find one.

The overall story was captivating and easy to follow, though I found the FMC a bit frustrating at times. She had a tendency to be overly emotional, frequently breaking into tears, while claiming she would outsmart and overpower her enemies—but she didn’t quite display the strength I had hoped for. However, she did gradually grow stronger as the story progressed.

The supporting characters were well-developed and fun to get to know, with some interactions that genuinely made me laugh out loud. If you enjoy a blend of romance, a thrilling rescue journey, and kingdom deception, I definitely recommend giving this book a try!
