Great New Shifter Story!

I've been listening to more vampire stories lately but this shifter story caught my eye via searching for Kirsten Potter. She is my second fav narrator (Marguerite Gavin is my all-time FAVORITE storyteller) and this sounded interesting.

The story starts out with intrigue, conflict and red hot wolf rescue of the damsel in distress. I was hooked within five minutes. This take-the-scenic-route-home story kept me interested until the very last minute. The world and character building are thoroughly entertaining. The secondary characters in the Alpha Pack have great personalities and I hope Sariel's story is next! Jax and Kira are a couple I enjoyed getting to know as people and as wolves, and their sex life? Sign me up! I will definitely be looking for the remainder of the books in this series and downloading asap.

hard to put down

excellent world building. love secondary characters. strong heroine. can't wait for next book to find out how they resolve issues that came up at the end. glad I found this author.

One more reason to love a shifter!

Would you consider the audio edition of Primal Law to be better than the print version?

Both versions are quite entertaining but I have a higher preference for audio than print...

What was one of the most memorable moments of Primal Law?

The moment that Jax took off to save Kira with the nagging feeling that his life was about to change forever but unsure of how...I was hooked!

Which scene was your favorite?

I would have to say the fight between Jax & Eric was a pretty good one!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I would say at some point Kira really irritated me....The fact that she denied her bond and almost cost Jax his life was definitely one that played on my emotions

Any additional comments?

Definitely a good start to this series and one that I would gladly say was worth my credit! ....although I got this listen for a better deal ($1.99) when I bought the print version through Amazon for about 5 bucks

I have mixed feelings about this story,I wanted to like it, kept trying to give it a chance to many things just didn’t add up.
It could have been the narration. She was good but just didn’t fit this story.
This is my opinion don’t base it on selection.

The author managed to shift my view in this genre.

Thoroughly entertaining story. So so action-packed that I never wanted stop listening . The writing was creative, and beyond this world. This is my first shape shifter romantic novel, but it won't be my last. The author knows her craft, and explores the boundaries of the imagination. I Bought this book at a romance novel convention. The type was too small to read. Love the audible book. Brilliant and cleverly written and performed. I am a new fan.

Pleasantly surprised how much I loved it.

Decided to check this out on a whim and something different as part of the Romance Audible package. It is a hot, sexy, werewolf romance and I was pleasantly surprised how much I love not only the main couple, but the whole Alpha team. I look forward to continuing their adventures and seeing what romance lays instore for the rest of the team.

I believe the storyline was great they could have kept the sex parts and told more of the story. It truly is a great story and I wanted more. I will be reading the next two books I can't wait.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I like the world created by the author. It has so much potential. I didn't like that the story is very simple and predictable, it was very easy to figure out what was going to happen next.

The sex scenes...

are literally some of the most awkward, unsexy words I have ever heard. Kudos to Kristen Potter for keeping a straight face while voicing them

Too much sex that seems to distract from story.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Cut back on the sex scenes. One description of mating is good enough. Should be a rabbit pack not wolves. Seemed to detour the story.

Would you be willing to try another book from J. D. Tyler? Why or why not?

Possibly not sure yet. Storyline has promise but sex scenes repeated over and over a "turn-off".

What about Kirsten Potter’s performance did you like?

Did well with what she had to work with.
