I purchased the audio book because I own the ebooks and really enjoy this series, but the narration of this story was HORRIBLE!!!!

What did you like best about this story?

The byplay between a clueless human woman and the "I Am The King" Alpha Lion was hilarious!

What didn’t you like about William G. Humphrey’s performance?

Honestly, I didn't like anything about his narration. It was flat and emotionless.

Was When an Alpha Purrs worth the listening time?

If you can get past the narration, the story is really worth the time to listen.

I usually don't like it when a series has a different narrator for each book. The narrator of the second book does a MUCH better job.

narrator is boring....

narrator needs to actually "perform" some words, ROAR, instead of reading it. sound effects at these points are critical.

I love Eve Langlais. Her stories are always romantic & funny.

What didn’t you like about William G. Humphrey’s performance?

Everything. Stilted, awkward performance. The voices for the secondary characters were laughable. The big, bad omega sounded like a 70 year old man.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Laughter, definitely.

Thank God this guy isn't narrating the rest of the series.

Wish it was longer. Worth a listen.

Good story, just too short. it would be nice to see what else happens to this couple, but the next book is about the beta, so I guess that's not going to happen. Also "ROAR", seriously?

Funny, sexy, light reading about Aric and Kira are fun

The book has lots of sarcastic humor, sexy talk, and is very entertaining. I recommend reading it. Aric and Kira are both great fun ‼️
